I see a couple people going for Mastery over Crit.

Do the talents proc off of mastery procs now, or is something else going on there?

What are ya'll rolling with?

Still haste>crit>mastery

FDCL/DI always procced off talents, but crit gets kills. Except in shadowplay.

lol yeah they we are not in the best of places right now.

But I've gone full mastery and mindmender. I just put up pain and kite with feathers until 3 orbs or 3orb/mender is up. I do cast VTs when I get the chance. But I kind of like the style I'm playing ATM, just wish decent people didn't look at spriest like we have aids and wont play with us.

crit > mastery, mastery doesn't help with procs much since its a percent of a percent. Also mastery doesn't improve offheals or utility aside from better mana return, but if you use VT properly mana won't be an issue with crit.

If anything, try to get as much haste as possible. I gem out of socket for it and wear PvE pieces for more, it gives faster globals and casts so that shadow can better compete with the mongoloid pace of arena right now, as well as lets you hit the next VT breakpoint in s14 gear. Try it out!

That guy is correct with the Mindbender, but you can spam Pain until orbs, no need to waste globals on feathers when you can take Phantasm and 10%- dmg (better synergy).

What glyphs/talents are people rolling with as Spriest these days?

The current season is at a very good spot balance-wise. There is a comp variety that hasn't been seen in the game since s8.

Any combination of inner fire, inner sanctum, fade, mind blast (rarely), PoM and weakened soul are the best choices for glyphs.

For talents, psyfiend/roots should depend on what cc's your partners bring, FDCL is better than insanity with spriest being so trainable (unless you're a really coordinated shatterplay), feathers are great kiting tools and have amazing synergy with guise, and spectral guise when used properly has more utility and prevents way more damage than bulwark. Instant mindblasts > everything else, and for your last tier divine star is a great instant self heal that deals damage and is usable when locked on shadow.
