Depends on what your aiming for. You can sit at 2.2/2.3 with Godcomp. Heard WPS is decent, haven't tried it. Also Spriest Hunter works somewhat, alltho you'll have problems when the wmx/rmd starts having a brain. I'd say you get stuck around 2.3 tho, so not much more to do about that.

Both Shatterplay (Spriest/Mage/Rsham) & Godcom (Spriest/Mage/Rdruid) seem to be pretty viable.

The mage on the team has to be very good in terms of peeling for the spriest and making small windows of opportunities for them to go offensive

Spriest burst is pretty scary in my opinion combined with the mage's pressure, but I feel like this comp requires the players to be somewhat top tier and very experienced with their classes.. not everyone can pull it off.. the setups from the mage have to be extraordinary and the Spriest has to know how to play under constant pressure which is not easy.

Its all about keeping the spriest alive with proper plays then setting up when your team has somewhat recovered.. have seen spriests go 2400+ with this comp and I believe it definitely has potential..

Maybe with the Intervene nerf Spriests will be in somewhat of a better shape because the two reflects on top of two interrupts have made it extremely difficult for the class to actually play since Spriests need to cast constantly.

Has anyone played ele/spriest/x this season? I found that a pretty damn strong comp in the past seasons.

Ele doens't provide enough peels/utility for SP's to live these days. Either one would get trained and the other could do nothing but stand and watch.

RPS Godcomp Shatterplay are prolly the only viable comps atm.

I really believe that RPS could get somewhat high... Since rogue is prolly the only class that provides so much peel for the spriest and the shammy

I played this comp to glad last season on one of my alt priests, and we did extremely well against ret hunter teams and what not. We ran this the first week of the season when the game was a bit more turtleish, we didn't drop a game out of about 20 games, but every warrior team was so difficult to win it wasnt fun. They can just sit on the spriest so i don't advise it. RMPs and RMDs will just laugh at you as well bc druids with no iceblock is a very viable target as well as the spriest or the shaman.

The comps I would play would be, shatterplay with a shaman or druid, and that's about it. I would preferably play with a druid bc with the warrior nerf coming today they will be able to clone easier which is good for you against cleaves.

Can they please buff shadow or overnerf warriors, either will make me happy. I want to see warriors once again feel the suffering that I have. Sit a nova for full duration you warrior scumbags

Godcomp seems most viable but the mage HAS to be the god in this comp. You are riding in the backpack....

With the dampening change (starts after 5minutes) I can see Shadowplay making a comeback. Mage being more squishy and warrs losing utility/mobility will certainly improve Shadows performance. Gonna try shadowplay tomorrow, can comment further then.

I much prefer to play shadow, but am having a hard time with it this season. If anyone has had any success with spriest/ele/rdruid, I'd love to know some of your strategies :)

I just came back to the game on a 7 day free trial. In full Malevolent Gear I was able to push to about 1920 as shattreeplay with a druid with 0% pvp power. The problems that shadow is experiencing are one's that it has experienced many times in the past. They are easy to train and they must rely heavily on their partner. I strongly agree that unless you are playing with a top tier mage and healer, you will not do well. Additionally, you must be able to put out pressure while being trained into the floor. Just get out their and keep queing games. You'll get used to it eventually hah. And from what i can see I do agree that I do not a see a spriest comp getting much higher than 2300ish.

so you mean do what most people did when they switched to shadow priest in s12/13? :D

My personal opinion about why PHD/ATC/Beastcleave are not being that succesful on Tournaments is that in many cases it relies on the enemy making an error...In a sense, that makes them the underdog...Hunter's have never really been that OP. People just have the image that hunters should be something to be stomped over
