Official Blizzard Quote:

World of Warcraft Patch 5.4.2 PTR

Classes
Mage
Talents
Temporal Shield's healing should now correctly modified by effects that affect healing (Battle Fatigue, Mortal Strike, Dampening).

Warrior
General
Intervene no longer removes movement-impairing effects on use. The talent Safeguard will continue to remove movement-impairing effects.
Improved checks on pathing for Intervene and Safeguard to address situations where Warriors may wind up under the terrain.

It's ok guys, warriors now have to use the talent most already use to get out of roots.  This will affect their mobility and make them more balanced.  Blizzard said so.

most of them use mass spell reflection and yes this is a huge change, this completely removes the double reflection unless you wanna be a DK when you're rooted. so please go away.

I truly wonder of all the people commenting both positive and negative, how many actually went on the ptr to play some games. One could argue that this can be tested live as well, but then you should pretty much agree with the warrior to not use intervene or to spec into safeguard. I highly doubt many put any effort into actually testing before commenting. And it so often goes like that ...

They can hotfix moonkins, but not warrior/mages. Sounds about right

They still need to fix resto druids synergy with mages! Maybe even nerf mages damage tbh, its ridicolous with all the cooldown stacking, alot better than warriors for example.
  • Rdruid with iceblock
  • Cenarion ward (affected by battle fattigue?) + Ironbark & other abilties while silenced (displacer/shapeshift) (bring back totems while silenced aswell then for shamans for example?)
  • Soulforest, "instant clones"?

the boomkin change was a fix to something that was intended, so presumably the code to make it work in that certain way was already present client side and just needed an update/fix. the change to temporal shield is a nerf, as it was not originally intended to be affected by both resilience and battle fatigue, so presumably they do not have client side code already present

but please complain more, they obviously just hate boomkins and love mages yea it must be that
