"Remember that after the root, earth grab slows the enemy even more than earth bind would, so it is far from useless after its root effect."
does it really? both seem to be a 50% snare to me, am i missing something?

Seem you are right, friend; I'm pretty sure it was higher but it must have changed or I was mistaken. Ty

one thing thats annoying vs;ing shams is the ones who know they cant cast and swap ghostwolf inbetween riptides and earthshields/totems for the extra dispel protection. I dont know if its the right thing to do but it's annoying as hell to keep purging ghostwolf instead of earthshield etcetera

Shifting into ghostwolf for a buff buffer can be alright but the problem with it is that it means you are waiting around with only an earth shield and riptide to keep you up. Assuming you are successful with RNG, these two spells are still not even close to strong enough to heal you through much at all, even with healing stream. instead it's better to be dropping totems, juking, purging, etc. it isn't always worthwhile to stand there and juke until you can get some free casts off, though. I think that a lot of shamans underestimate shaman kiting ability (a lot of shamans just don't really kite), the only reason I didn't mention it much above is because it doesn't seem worth it as much with the low amount of healing throughput shamans have now, and the high amount of damage coming in from the melee you are usually matched up against.

But a lot of time, and still sometimes now, it is worth it not to come out of ghost wolf to pop that healing stream or even dispell that half fear (it's all situational, obviously) not so much for dispell protection, but more to try and get out of LoS for free casting (no range interrupts, no charge or grip, no spam dispel, etc) or to build enough distance just to get those heals off. It takes a lot of quick planning, a lot of attention to when these enemies use their cool downs, and attention to the positioning of everyone on the map, but it can be worthwhile especially if it means topping yourself before NG procs while getting trained / swapped to. It takes a good eye, though, because one misread and you could have to pop a bunch of CD's or die because you didn't realize leap was up, or recklessness was ready for when you kited a bit away from the gateway. Earthshield + riptide hot are not going to heal you through much at all this patch when getting beat on, so careful with reading the situations.

Rushing Streams ... Note that this talent is extremely good in combination with healing stream totem glyph, as it provides the damage reduction effect caused by that glyph to two targets.

it doesn't :/

the lowest hp target gets always the buff if everyone is on 100% then its random

I'm enhance but pretty sure it works the same way for resto

Although they aren't the strongest, KFC, Kitty Cleave, RPS, Shatterplay, RLS, Shadowcleave, and more can still work quite well.

Please tell me more about this 'kfc'

Thanks, I just hit 90 on my resto shaman (my tenth 90 now jesus) so I liked reading this as it was my old main way back in BC and things have changed slightly since then.

You probably don't remember because it was like the first week of the season but my very first 2v2 game this season was against you and a dk, I was playing resto druid/spriest and we got so close to winning a couple of times but every time you did something to get out of it and pull out a big heal lol, was super frustrating but a good game. We ended up losing several minutes in it was a super intense match :(
