Mind explaining a bit further? I might be able to relate to them cause I have played in the US aswell.

If you can't manage a combined > 50% winning pct vs RMX, KFC, WMX, LSD, God Comp, Beast, and MLX then you can't push it to safe glad.

I personally want to know how it performs vs each of those comps individually

Two demo locks on usa ladder. One is Azael on alt so that doesn't rly count but the other is a kid playing demo feral. I've faced him around 2300 MMR.  Pretty real comp.

I played double Unholy DK Hpal last night around 2100ish mmr

It was pretty funny, but the other DK just refused to use Blood Tap, didnt use Necrotic Strike, and thought topping damage was just awesome. The paladin and I would've kept going, but we stopped playing with that guy just on principle >_>

That being said, the pressure that comes from Double UH is pretty god damn ass-fuckingly retarded, I can't even imagine how much harsh it would be with the other DK actually playing correctly as well.

I'd do like 3 million damage and 20 necrotic strikes, he'd do like 3.2 million damage and he'd do 2 necrotic strikes.

Losiro and Slushh played 2xUHDK/MW ~2200 on alts a few nights ago with limited success. Perhaps one of them can elaborate.

Just played DK/Ele/Disc with a Shaman that hadn't played Elemental before, and a Priest that hadn't played Healer before.

Sitting at 2k rating at 2150 MMR, we're doing good but good lord do we have issues with WMX and RMX

I personally want to know how it performs vs each of those comps individually

RMX = Finding them on stealth is GG you win. Especially if the rogue and mage plays with a hpala, demo locks pretty much counters any form of direct healing. You'll just have to train the mage. Against rdruid teams it will be a bit tricky, that's when you have to switch on someone without HoTs.

KFC = The demo lock is very tanky against hunters and the lock would give you a big favour if he knows common sense...Such as LoSing the hunter or don't LoS your healer etc.

WMX = Isn't a problem at all, you can go for any targets except for the healer. Infact it's easier than meeting RMX since you can peel off the warrior easier than the rogue since you got demonic gateway and deathgrip.

LSD = a matter of going for someone who doesn't have HoTs and switch on the rdruid everytime you got AMS, Asphyxiate and Deathgrip.

God Comp = Train whoever got no hots, the games takes time but it won't make you lose unless the rshaman messes up with the positioning or yourself.

Beastcleave = Matter of training whoever got no defensive cds, you can train the hunter all day if you want, you can switch for the healer or get the shaman in a bad spot for a hard switch.

MLX = Train the mage and the lock all day, depending on who got no HoTs or defensive cds.

I'd rate the comp vs each of those comps individually.

RMX = 6/10 can be difficult if rshaman gets swapped on, aka caught in a bad spot.

KFC = 9/10 You lose if your lock messes up pretty badly. (Like running away from your portal radius or no gateway closeby or overextending)

WMX = 8/10, the swaps on the rshaman if your healer messes up, he is dead.

LSD = 9/10, the only problem is the dk issues, our survivability...Like AMS for example.

God Comp = 7/10, Dk survivability issues vs silences. You'll pretty much have to stand next to a gateway.

Beast = Same as KFC

MLX = 7/10, Dk survivability issues. Same as God comp. You won't have big chances on having the advantage to switch on their healers.

Personally I'd say try the comp. If you know a lock who got common sense and a rshaman who won't panic as soon as he gets switched on. You'll be completely fine.

What I've noticed is that you can go through any type of defensives except for evasion, cloak and die by the sword with the damage that the demo lock has. The survivability with the lock is nowhere to be an issue. You won't struggle at all. It's just the dk survivability and the rshaman swaps that can be difficult.

against RMD, we've struggled a bit with the damage part when going for someone with full HoTs. Because the amount of peelings the rogue does is insane against a dk. So the best thing is going for someone who doesn't have HoTs pretty much.

And as a result, he probably thinks Death Knight class should be renamed to Godbreaker because of how much immense power we have.

DK/ele/rdruid seems decent at the moment on EU. Haven't seen anyone playing it on US though, weirdly.

I'd personally say it feels stronger than other comps I've been trying out (PHD, TSG, scleave).

I like the fans.

Anyways, Ele DK is strong, just need to know how to play it / live to play it really well. TSG is great if you get amazing queues. PHD is always strong but I've stopped trying to play with people that just get blown up and have never done well with it. Shadowcleave is really good and is just like Ele DK without the second healer and it more rot oriented.

The comp really is one of the strongest DK comps atm. We were gonna play it to glad with my new druid, but we stopped at 2150, cause I got kinda tired of the druid gameplay. WIll give it a shot again when my monk is geared though. I guess it's gonna be a bit weaker with a monk healer because yeah, druids, but the gameplay just appeals a lot more to me, and imo the DK/Ele don't have to adjust TOO MUCH to the new healer, except for going pacman while I'm cced.

Some recent noteworthy USA DK comp news

SCleave - Driz played it to almost 2500 with Rynd healing it on rdruid. Rynd streamed so I assume vods are up

TSG - a few ppl have played it to ~2350 and one group to 2430 all with MW healers

PHD - Rev and Chimpo still holding strong with it at 2500+

Liberty - Sandram (aka Stepmother) played it to 2400+ on his stream with cdew and deprived. Monk and rdruid

DK/enh - I heard Slushh played it over 2300 recently

DK/ele - khones grinded it from 2150 to >2300 MMR recently (edited to reflect Criming posts)

I run DK/Ele/MW in 3s. Just started running it recently and the ele's in resto gear. Got up to 1900 easy. Still working the kinks out but once we get a groove goin, the games just feel so smooth. IMO heavy on positioning but if you coordinate well with your team, unstoppable comp. We do have trouble with rogue teams simply because shamans just kinda bend over to them but we manage every now and then.

Ran DK/Ele/MW last night and I was 2270, shaman was 2222, and DK was 2125 when we started. Finished off the night at 2311, and shaman hit 2300, and DK finished at 2260ish.

It was pretty freaking boss.  I have healed TSG, PHD, and DK/Enh this season and probably have over 1300 3v3 games combined healing those three comps.

Ele/DK/MW so far feels like the easiest and strongest DK comp atm.  It's ridiculously strong, and other then proper switches to keep pressure up it is pretty mongo.

Shadowcleave is pretty boss if the lock/dk know how to properly set up switch kills on healers. I would love to find a lock/dk that knew how to run it to play with.  It's actually one of my favorite comps it's just finding a lock/dk that can actually run it into glad range isn't easy.
