So yea as the title says Professions & Hunters, what are you guys liking atm ? Engineering and Tailoring seem to both be very good, I was thinking of dropping skinning for tailoring but not sure... Anyways what are you guys liking the best atm ?

Depends from race imo too. i don't like tailoring, if u arent human engi is really good. Other proffesions are same, +320 agi - just choose the cheapest as 2nd prof.

I really really like engineering. Since marksman doesn't really have a direct damage increase burst cooldown like most other classes, the on-use gloves tinker is really nice. Other than that any +320 mainstat profession is good. Agi is better than any offstat so it doesn't matter.

As lapean said engi is good if you arent human. On-use trinket and engi gloves cant be used at the same time that's why. Tailoring is good if you like "the stars align" burst procs but id take 320 agility over it any time.

tailoring is godlike on a hunter as 4k ap and scales with aspect so it's actually 5k ap when procc'd. if you just want a cheap prof for 320 agi then do alchemy as you can get the 320 stats unlocked at only 350 skill.

Engineer only seems good for BM where you can line it up with BW.
Pronunciation: sər-vī-vəl

Why would you ever want to line up synapse springs with BW considering most of the time you will ever use BW is to mongo out of CC ?

The extra agility from synapse is a nice mini cooldown to have up every min as surv/mm.

So I am currently farming the ore to power level Engineering and Blacksmithing.  But after reading what Taco said about Tailoring I'm wondering if I should level Tailoring instead of Blacksmithing.  I am a Troll MM Hunter.

Blacksmithing + Engineering is the best, but Im too lazy.

If human I hear Tailoring + blacksmithing is insane damage.

Sockets turn red and those gems no longer contribute if you drop BS.

Yea tailoring is really nice, especially as a Hunter.  When everything lines up I get something like 87k attack power lol nasty fucking damage when the stars align.

I've been going JC/Enchanting, might need to change it up.

Tailoring over Engineer for humans & other way around for orcs, care to explain why this is?

humans use the on use trinket which shares a cd with engi gloves  orcs can use proc trinket and engi gloves so tailoring is a nice addition

I switched from alchemy/leatherworking to tailoring/engineering, so far I'm liking it very much, but I have on use trinket so I don't have engi glove enchant yet.
Should I have engi gloves on a seperate keybind and wait for right proccs, cloak and/or trinket procc or should I just bind it with rapid fire or something?

I'm on that Engi/Enhanter Lifestyle on my main and JC/LW on my alt. If I ever make one of them alliance it will be the Alt with JC/LW because Engi Glove use is kinda wasted with Push/Proc as human.

They will still show but in game the socket is outlined in red and your gems won't all add up in armory.  I've swapped out before and noticed it.
