Okay so now that most hunters seem to be playing MM again whats your thoughts on serpent sting nowadays ? atm I like keeping it up as much as possible on our kill target but I do see some glad/r1 hunters that stream dont even bother putting it on their bars, others use it all the time I just wanted to get some peoples thoughts on it, thanks.

15 focus & Chimera refreshes it, I see no point in not using it.

I too, would be very pleased to have serpent sting provide some sort of special effect again for the different hunter specs. Perhaps it could provide some dispel protection for black arrow as survival? A special passive for Survival only, that makes the enemy healer think twice before taking away black arrow and costing our LNL procs. Just an idea, what do other hunters think about serpent sting's current role in arena?

As for MM i sometimes don't bother using unless we are going to tunnel one target almost all game. But if i play a comp that requires quick burst or lot of swap/resets(like thug) i rather not bother using.
For survival though it is a must have on target(s).

Its damage to me, granted because of dispel mechanics if someone CAN dispel poisons and they happen to dispel a magic effect it will take it off, but damage is damage in my opinion and Chimera will keep it up if it never gets dispelled.  Its your choice or not whether to use it since it doesn't tick for very much, but at the end of the day damage is damage
