I just saw that:

"Slam now deals 50% more damage, but the Rage cost has been increased by 50% as well. While Sweeping Strikes is active, Slam will deal 35% of damage dealt against the primary target to all other enemies within 2 yards, and targets affected by Colossus Smash receives 10% more damage."

Few seconds after i read it, when I came back to myself, I facepalmed...

50% MORE DAMAGE? ON SLAM? ARE YOU CRAZY? DO YOU REALLY WANT TO RUIN THIS CLASS?

No, just no blizzard! Dont make us 1 button Slamtrains...It'll be one-shoting people with CD's UP!

Ok but now, srsly...50%? really? Everyone knew that slam needed a buff to be used more often in rotation/pvp. I thought that they'll make some kind of cool mechanic to improve it like "Your X attack (or attacks) have chance to activate Y ability that increases damage of next Slam by Z%" or just "your X attack have a chance to increase damage of your next Slam by Y% ". But what we get? A flat, braindead 50% damage buff to our highest hiting ability! (not counting Execute, but after buff Slam is gonna hit a lot harder!)

After they said that they're gonna finally do something with Warrior's pitiful damage i thought it'll be something with sense like new mechanism/arms's mastery rework or something simple like "Seasoned Soldier now increases physical damage dealt by 30% or 35% (up from 25%) blahblahblah" etc. But we have a braindead buff to Slam, jesus the guy who made this change has minimal IQ.

Want more meaningful Slam's? And buff our damage (finally)?
Make something new, some examples:
- TFB now increases Slam's damage per stack by 6%, using Slam - Consumes two stacks of TFB (Usage of Overpower's per TFB stack remains unchanged). Thats just example, but i overall think that combining Slam with Overpower's TFB isnt good idea.
- Make a new ability similar to TFB that should work with slam.
- Make new RNG mechanism to work with Slam. Like Fury's Cata Bloodsurge.
- Increase slam's damage by ~20%, not by 50%! But give it a 3 sec. CD like it was with HS in Cata. But its risky because it would result in something like: "Use slam everytime you can and when its off CD".
- Increase HS damage
- Do something with Cleave or just simply remove it. Its useless.
- Or like i thought you'll do, just simply buff Seasoned Soldier or make battle & berserker stance increase some damage instead of buffing Slam to godlike Status...

(offtopic) My own thoughts about some other changes:
- Nerf Vigiliance. With the recent change to Intervene, Vigiliance becomes almost mandatory, because of its Huuuge utility potential, its like Shield Wall that you can pop on your ally! Increasing its CD to 3 min. should be a good solution IMO. People still didnt notice how powerful this ability is! But you'll see...
- If blizzard decide to buff one of ours passive damage buffs like Seasoned Soldier, then Bladestorm's damage needs to be reduced a bit.
- Sad Heroic Strike and Cleave still waits to become usefull again! :[

Ehm...Slam hiting harder than execute with the same cost?...Where is the sense of that? Same ability that hits harder, costs same rage and can be used every time instead of below 20%? NO SENSE! Maybe just rename it to Execute, or remove execute...This change needs immediate another change! Thats not a solution for Warrior's issues. Thanks.

edit. Oh i remember now what i wanted to say!
Guys dont complain about Overpower's pitiful damage, buffing it by any % wont change anything but it would just make slam even more useless, ofc. if they decide to change back slam to its current damage.
Buffing OP to for example 120% wep damage will make Slam useless, now its at least usefull in CS windows.

Goddammit! Im 100% sure that i forgot to say something but i cant remember what! ehm...

But look how fucking dumb it was like, a bot could Drain Mana just like a bot could play Hunter ATM.

its not on ptr yet so i havent been able to test damage, i think a 100 rage cs windows with full cd's will be incredibly deadly, more so than ascendance..

hard to tell yet without it being deployed on ptr.

You can't just spam this ability, and slam now costs 45 rage.
You should also test this out on the PTR first.
Currently am testing it now.

Er...don't think the PTR update included this...

uhh what. in the notes it says 50% more? 50% of 20 is 10 which means it should cost 30 rage right?

This change is good, given that they also change Avatar to a lower damage boost, shorter duration, shorter cool down ability.

The existing Avatar may not go very fairly with this slam buff.

if its 30 rage it also might make the 120 rage glyph viable in pvp, so you can dump 4 slams in a cs windows.

either way its a stupid change. no points using overpower just save a 130 rage bar and 1 shot something.

The way I read it is it'll be 330% weapon damage, 363% during CS.

We will see next PTR push.
