Right, fed up of classes killing Shadowy Apparitions to benefit their instant heals or damage.

I'm talking about classes like locks and ret paladins using them as an advantage to heal or deal damage.

Shadowy Apparitions do about 4% of my damage per fight and really don't lend a benefit to us when they can award other classes nice word of glory heals etc.

Played a 2s game vs a ret/rsham at 2.1 and even when the rsham was in a long cc chain the ret could just keep alive by hitting apparitions and healing himself to full.

Silly concept, needs to be reworked.

Here he admits that he is killing the apparitions to get instant heals.

It's just ridiculous

This is getting fixed in next patch making Them like missilers, untargetable (atleast it was like thats last time i checked)

I also heard from Spriests on MMO-C that the amount of Apparitions you can have is now unlimited.

Silly question but would apreciate if someone clear it for me.

Shadow Apparitions break poly trap etc. when they hit ?

I.e. if SA is going to a target and target gets poly, SA hits it, poly break ?

It has broken Blind before on streams. Seen it happen. Probably breaks poly too.

Back in WoTLK I would swap sw:p between targets to juke SA targetting.  You could juggle and wtf swap them onto a target at the last second, causing them to converge all at once (along with the rest of your burst).
I miss having the option to choose between a burst-heavy spriest build, and a dot/sa heavy build.  I also miss having lots of options/second and performance scaling relative to maintaining a high APM count, with lots of macro/micro management, unlike a lot of today's gameplay.

Broken dead game etc etc...but I guess being able to "micro" the SAs will inch the skillcap up, in terms of maintaining high APM and fully utilizing ones class.

The only benefit other than damage is the 1 time when SA's eat your traps.
