Hello fellow AJ monks.
Just rolled to MW to try it out but there is no up to date guide and also no streams running. So i have this question:

What is the healing 'rotation'/priority in few words? On the different tournaments last  week i saw only 2-3 games of mw play and they were using only renewing mist/wave on cd and spam spheres. Is the sphere spam better than soothing mist+enveloping and surges when needed with the thunder focus. Just have the feeling that relying on spheres too much is not really mana efficient.

Envelop is your priority, surging should only be cast with Focus Tea up, chi wave on CD, and sphere during intense dmg but only if u know you can land the spheres.  Spheres are a big heal with low mana cost, but don't generate mana tea so you can't solely rely on spheres as your main heal.

I think the spectator addon they use in tournaments does not track monk healing accurately.  If you cast surging mist or enveloping mist while channeling soothing mist it doesn't show up as a spell cast.

Yeah I think people saw Danny play and think all he did was healing sphere cause that's mainly what the addon kept showing.

Not saying this to be mean, but did you even look for the guide???

http://www.arenajunk...ver-monk-guide/

It's literally the very first thing posted in the Monk section, and though there are some minor changes needed, it's still very relevant.

he cast so many healing sphere, because he has the healing sphere bot. So you can target your party members and it aims them for you...

Use friendly nameplates, it's pretty easy to use spheres with a bit of practice

Is this legal to use in game like any other plug-in or is it against the EULA?

If its part of the bot 'honorbuddy' then it isn't legal.

He gave that explanation on the WoW forums, personally not accusing him of anything but i'm far from being very knowledgeable with macros and scripts, is this remotely plausible?

Hey

Seems like a lot of people think I'm cheating somehow. I'd just like to clear this up. I frapsed a game of 2s and a random BG where you can clearly see my mouse in high quality. You can easily see why I don't need any assistance using healing spheres. I use a clever combination of UI, keybinds, and macros to make it very easy. Such as: in RBGs I use target raid1-10 buttons so I never have to click frames. The targeting binds also activate my healing sphere with these kinds of macros:

/click PlayerFrame RightButton
/click DropDownList1
/click [nomod] CompactRaidFrame1
/click [mod:shift] CompactRaidFrame6
/use Healing Sphere

(line 1-2 is to clear the healing sphere from the cursor. line 3-4 is to target friendly player. line 5 is to re-activate the green circle on the cursor)

As you can see I also have my current target nameplate show up very vividly and no other friendly nameplates showing. That's to make it very easy to see where I need to drop them. I hope this clears things up.

That's a pretty nifty macro.  How does he only show the friendly nameplate for his current target and no other friendly units?

Is there a way to make name plates larger and more visible. I have been working on using spheres a lot more but against hunter teams with stampede if they are using large pets I still can't see teammates very well. I need to make the name plates larger and bolder.  Is there anyway to do that?

Personally I just turn off pet and guardian nameplates to clean up the screens.  I also turn of totem nameplates, though I know some people prefer not to do this, but since I play shaman primarily I don't tend to have an issue seeing a totem when it's down from the visual art, rather than a nameplate.

I am interested to see those tournament videos.
Do you remember the name of player/team/streamer/date?
