ive tried maximizing on this before, but we do not have the spare global cooldowns to allow for it within our rotation. you are best to leave the slows to another class and run with SoT, this will allow for maximum dps without the need for paying attention to seals and hoping for a blindspot in your rotation to allow for it.
Only use SoT when you cant depend on another class to slow for you

One idea which could make the Retri gameplay more interesting in general, would be to remove or reduce the GCD of seal swapping. Then we could use SoJ more often (slow issue resolved - voila).
The seals themselves could also use some offensive and defensive bonuses to promote "stance dancing". With adjustments to our skills/CDs so it wouldn't be over the top.
Ok I got carried away with the ideas - herp derp me Retri kill you with big weapon and damage anyway. Me no need slow - <drool>
