casted heals are still too low, but overall with that shield we could be something like probably viable?! x)

So I have a choice between making my WOGs heal for 30% less and have a shitty dispellable hot component that doesnt stack mastery ( which is already bugged in pvp and double dips battle fatigue), A talent that I will never  have enough globals to actually use in an arena because damage is already so high, or a shield that gets reduced by battle fatigue and mortal strike that is on a 2minute cooldown... It actually boggles my mind at how they could take the healer with the least amount of passive healing while cc'd and nerf our passive healing.... Time to level my mistweaver

Our only reliable trashbuff is getting removed, not a big fan of that but I rather have EF do healing then nothing

I don't understand what that blue means. They are leaving the initial burst heal but nerfing the HoT by 30%? Still absurd. I really want a response on Sacred Shield for PvP; because there is no holy pvp usefulness in the new form

I don't think the HoT ever got nerfed? Didn't try it on the PTR but the HoT wont proc our mastery anymore from what I know

EF on PTR, hot ticks for 25.7k and direct heal was 80k. The HoT didn't get nerfed.

That would indicate they reverted everything other than it impacting the mastery proc; good if true, but still need to have Sacred Shield looked otherwise it will never be a useful talent

I always thought Eternal Flame as just being a baseline HoT and no HP generation required (like Renew/Rejuv) then WoG is baseline and HPal can spec into Sacred Shield would be a nice idea. Sufficient healing while CC'd and more passive healing. Of course they would have to make a talent to replace Eternal Flame and maybe change the healing amount on one of those abilities to balance it out to not be OP.

Nerfing the weakest heals nice. Flash critting for around 85k in arenas while Shamans still critting for 300k+ legit stupid. On top of that, they nerfed our mastery this last patch which was strange and now they are nerfing eternal flame...GJ Blizzard, GJ. Why can't they just go back to how arena was in Wrath? No Battle Fatigue, just 25/50% MS and adjust things from there instead of adding Battle Fatigue.

I'm curious...since they are now making Healing Tide a baseline skill for all Shamans and making a new talent for them, I'm wondering if they will look at some other classes and do this as well. Would be nice to have either Eternal Flame or Sacred Shield baseline and maybe even make Holy Prism baseline since it will still be the best talent in the final tier. What do you guys think?

Nothing of what AJ paladins have been discussing has gone through. No fear reduction, no dispel resistance on Sac, no pushback resistance. Instead they made Divine Plea completely braindead. No skill whatever is required anymore as to when to pop divine plea. Just spam it at every cd and lol lol kek like an idiot instead of having a fun gameplay mechanic where you actually had to read the flow of battle.

I don't understand why you are moaning at all about the divine plea? In comparison to the state of other mana replenishment options for healers I welcome the change in open arms, it makes us on par in terms of that area of our class. I am slightly confused why you are even moaning about that change.

This whole post is really really outdated. The nerfs and the sacred shield change has been reverted, and sacred shield can be applied on 3 target with insta absorb. The nerf on Eternal flame has been reverted, and the HoT has been buffed by 30%. Ancient kings redesign also makes us stronger. I have played alot of PTR, and I feel like it's much more easier to heal and you struggle less with mana, since the buff to Plea, and to Holy Shock, making the mana required Halfed. All the changes are for the better, and I see no nerf done to them. Update please. :)
