So, 5.4 is live.
I've tried some duels as balance, and I've noticed some things:
The -15% dmg reduction is noticeable, it's like everyone got 10% buff(double pvp trinket) but we got -5%, its obviously a survivality loss, i think no question here.
My starsurge crits for 50k on a pvp geared target with only Eclipse up on a pvp geared target - for me it seems a bit low, might be just me.
Starfall damage is great. Wrath still hits too soft, starfire seems great too. Dot damage is good, mostly with DoC and incarnation
The second tier talent can be only cenarion ward for me, outweights the other 2 by quite a large margin. Damage is too high for 10k heal/5 sec if someone is trained, even in duels and only affects friendly targets if you're at 100% health, which is lets be honest, rare in arenas.
DoC seems to be still way worse than HotW for me, its a bit more damage, but hotw is 6% intellect, 6% stamina and on use its still way better than DoC, and you don't always want to use healing touch before going into an eclipse, not to mention that DoC is only affecting healing touch, no rejuv and cenarion ward, if you're in deep shit you can't always rely on casting healing touch i think.
NS being baseline is amazing i think, should have been done like that earlier for balance at least.
as resto i was amazed at the 1.2 million healing from the mushroom, without fatigue ofc, but still, you don't see often 1.2 million heal.. mostly having the eflorressence too.
