I feel that blizzard is coming back to cata a bit. Now the only issue will be SB:Swap that makes warlocks a bit boring. Good changes anyway. Took them 6 months to realize that mop changes were dogshit

How are the level 90 talents going to work?

Is Howl Baseline now?

90 talents are now on a 1.5min cooldown.

10% damage reduction gone.

Howl baseline.

New talent: Shadowflame (but on a 20 sec cooldown, replaces howl in talent tree)

i disagree with the 10% damage reduction, would like to see that stay and perhaps a nerf to the cooldowns if they want to nerf survivability. its good that they're finally reverting some things back to cata state

would also like to see running spell removed

kil'jadens cunning is pretty dumb in it's current state tbh

howl baseline is a good change, now you can have coil/SF and howl again

and what is with blizzard removing all these passive damage reductions? especially on classes that get tunneled

I don't think these changes are good, our biggest problem right now is lack of survivability and they're removing the damage reduction from Fel Armor since we're probably the squishiest class in game right now. Surely there's a reason behind that though, wish they'd bring Soul Link back. Some of the changes are nice though.

The nerf to Kil'jaeden's Cunning is going to hurt us but I honestly feel any class able to cast while moving is a bad thing in PvP. It's going to be nice having Shadowflame back but I doubt a 50% slow is going to be enough compensation for the nerf to Fel Armor.

The % of the slow isn't known yet. It's probably 70%.

Just checked, nvm, it's 30%. Probably not final.

I think http://ptr.wowhead.com/spell=47897 is the new version of shadowflame, but I could be wrong. Since howl is baseline maybe we'll be using shadowfury or coil now though instead anyways

Losing casting while running is gonna hurt us so much, especially when we get trained to the ground.

I don't see disc losing pen while moving or shamans being able to lightning bolt on the move. Mages are still all about instant procs so yeah.

As much as I hate KJ's cunning, I think it's needed in the current expansion with the way other casters behave, and how much mobility melee has. You can barely ever catch a break vs warriors, monks or ferals.

The current season is at a very good spot balance-wise. There is a comp variety that hasn't been seen in the game since s8.

I'd pick shadowflame any day over Kil'jaeden's Cunning if it means we finally can kite melee properly again. The survival nerf is happening for every class though, so no point bitching about it
