I'm starting to wish we had more utility.
I really wish heroic throw could silence (not pummel, just the throw), something extra we can bring to the table instead of just giving and taking damage.

better then 5.2, but not by a huge margin.  25% d-stance just feels like 15% d-stance w/resil gems, warriors still just kind of fall over.  Qued about 30 games around 2.4k so far, wizards don't give me a hard time unless its an ele on blades edge.  Just have half a brain with positioning and they won't global you.

comps, idk.  I see no fellow warriors on either my mage (2.2kish) or my warrior.  Once in a while i see KFC, thats it though.  I'm still playing warrior/spriest/sham, comp sucks but weve been making it work.  I feel like warrior/mage could be good but its hard to play, warrior/lock def has potential.  turbocleave maybe?  haven't seen one so far.  

Hardest thing to deal with is hunters, any time i extend to switch onto a healer (our comps a healer killer) the hunter pushes to trap my shaman and we have to lose all of our momentum to eat the trap.  just feels like without babysitting healers from hunter cc you or your partners will just flop, its kind of depressing.

ninja edit:  ret/hunter teams are fucking impossible to beat if they have their monitors on.  if anyone knows the secret let me know, its not tunneling anyone thats for damn sure.

Hehe braindance,  i actually got permbanned on main account.
I will probably go back warrior sometime, i made a list a long time ago that warr needed for me to start playing it again(Early mop).
Some of the things has come to live, but there is more to come!

The big issue with our charge is that 90% of all casters has instant to apply their MAIN damage.

Nova, icelance, DoTs, heals etc.

So basicly what every caster is doing nowday is spamming jump while applying their abilitys, 9/10 charges gets jumped.

Battle stance, 10% more damage - Defensive stance 10% less damage done, 10% less damage taken.

Intervine works on spells.

Glyph of slam gives more %damage instead of %critt.

Rend damage increased.

UA back to warrs.

I think warriors are in a decent spot compared to 5.2. I would like to see something like hamstring applied with mortal strike and maybe a 3 second heroic throw silence on a 1-1.5 min CD (it was wayyyy too short before, so was shockwave).  The damage is very good but I'd like to see SLAM fixed or just gotten rid of, its clunky and costs too much rage.

I did some war/mage/priest to 2350 or so in 5.2, it was really fun and I felt like it did well against most rogue teams (due to spirit shell).  Kinda got fucked against KFC, ret/hunter/priest, and PHD though.

I think deep wounds should provide a snare, with hamstring being a root with short cd

List of comps I have gone past 2200~2300 after 5.3 so far.

- Kitty w/ pala or monk
- KFC w/ pala or monk or disc
- Turbo w/ monk or disc (I think it should def work with pala healer as well)

I haven't tried anything else just yet but I think war/lock/heal should work fine.  War/mage/heal is ok, too but I face way too many hybrid/hunter/healer lately so I don't recommend it unless mage plays in a god mode.

Srsly tho, I think all I've been facing above 2200 mmr is melee/hunter/heal or caster/ele/heal lately.  We need more variety here...

Oh and give us back our 30 sec heroic throw silence!!!

Couple things I wanted to add.

I think having two sets of gears is actually really good for our class.

I have Str >Crit gemming + Crit>Expertise reforging as my 1st set and Crit>Str gemming + Crit>Mastery reforging as the 2nd.
1st set vs melee/hunter, 2nd set vs casters.  So I swap gears depending on who my primary kill target is going to be.  It seems to be working out for me and I just like the feeling of having the edge over any comp I face.

Also, if you don't have any problem with your dps but you dying is the problem, go with resil set.  Resil is still really really good but it seems the new trend after 5.3 is cc the warrior and train his partners, at least for the comps I've been running.

Thundercleave is very strong again too.  Reminds me of S8 a little when we ran it at 2600+, back when grounding totem grounded godamn everything (even our godamn charges lol).

pretty much. class is outdated bringing no utility beyond tickling someone with our pathetic damage output.  5.4 will fix it?  jk we all know it wont, blizz is to scared of 5.1.  we're a pure damage class that doesn't do shit for damage.

We have no niche - we used to be the best melee class damage-wise. No we are subpar even in that section. While our defenses now are decent, our utility is utter trash. We have 0 peels apart from a laughable slow, a 40 second cd stun and a charge that's it. Oh and disarm.
Pretty much everything we have has been given to other classes, whilst at the same time,they retained their original tools.

We are completely obsolete in the current game. Not in terms of viability that much, but mostly because everything we do can be done better by other classes. We actually have less utility now than in BC. In BC we had mace stun and improved hamstring and 10 seconds reflect. Literally half of our talents should be baseline just to give us the same utility as other melee.
