I know Unholy is the spec to play for arena, and it's what I've been playing so far. But what about for normal BGs and rated BGs? Unholy or Frost? And why?

usualy frosts are used as TCS (or a really really good unhly). eitherway i preffer Frost cus of the interrupt aoe that stops flag caps, but well Unhly beats frost anyday on damage if they are gd.

but if your team is depending on you then go frost.. we usualy just say if we beam go shaman, after go priest when he Ps go paladin he boubles, go back priest kill him then pala etc..

You must play with terrible frost dks is you think unholy out damages or out performs frost.

Feel free to call me an idiot because I'm a hunter or some stupid ass remark but I've actually written all this down on paper and have looked at the numbers comparatively for almost every class

I actually made an appearance at DH2014 and I met up with people from twitch who were involved with the dota 2 / cs tournies that where there, I talked about the game from my perspective as a professional player and we actually shared a lot of opinions. All I'm saying is a lot of people will be VERY surprised about the future of this game in the esport world :)

boosted? i play with anyone provided the team is good, and if they rage in a language i dont understand, the better, also the ru ppl i played with actually do use english atleast when go mage go lock pal bouble (very limited) but its all you rly need tbh

"you dont need to be like the human mage just used cold snap to block and he now has the debuff and no blocks so we should kill him." when all you rly need to say is "Go mage - no blocks" or similar sentences to other stuff

what i meant was that Sure frost beats unholy with raw damage overall, but unholy has nice dot damage teamed up with NT mages / Affli & moonkin and SPs

http://i.imgur.com/axEmMrq.jpg here's a link to the scoreboard of an rbg played as unholy.

The damage in tight fights is really strong and its great spread damage, the only downsides I'd say are that frost is a lot better for killing rogues and stronger on fc maps aswell.

this game was also played the day the necro strike nerf was in and made it absorb around 20k temporarily

How do you reforge if you wanna play both specs? Isn't Haste better for Frost and Mastery better for Unholy?

go mastery frost, play with unholy blight and gorefiends grasp, use grasp to clump people together in beams and unholy blight when you grasp and thats all the spread pressure you need, chillblains is good but if your team has a lot of snares consider asphyxiate to kill rogues. unholy is only really better for either node defending or playing a comp where its viable to train healers into the ground.
