BM or MM in 5.3?

Will BM still be more viable than MM in 5.3? Would like to hear what people think.

I think so tbh the 1 min trinket is just so op, But I would love to play marks again

BM will still be the spec more than likely.

Until they take BW off readiness or nerf it in some other way i dont see marks being a viable option comparatively

both will be extremely viable just play whichever you enjoy or whatever you find fits the comp you're running

something like thug will still be better with bm for example whereas something like scatter play would benefit more from marks

I play MM today, the opener is rly strong with aimed shot critt chance on high life targets.
Doubble aim shot for opener, and save power shot for swaps ! :)
I just miss a damn stun =/

i wont really be able to decide until i see what blink strike hits for, it's going to be really hard speccing out of double trinket. I'll probably swap back and forth.

it will, however you just took 4 seconds possibly 5 seconds to land cc so with all the hybrids in the game you better hope your partner is pumping out mongo dmg during this, also its obviously now when scatter trap is going down, this chain will give players and extra second or 2 to ground silence disarm stun fear poly etc

it will be strong just not godmode strong, i think it might cause a neilyo effect where hunters are spending 5 seconds every 30 to pull this chain off when MoP is more of a rushdown playstyle for most comps

If I'm reading these current changes correctly, MM basically gets binding shot and intimidation.  AoE buff significantly more for MM than BM.

Not to mention the 2 sec reduction on pet res, which I feel favors MM over BM since MM uses cunning spec pets.

Maybe I'm bias b/c my other class is a balance druid and I appreciate vortex but I feel that binding shot for MM will be HUGE in terms of dealing with LOS and peeling.

If these changes go through I'm definitely returning to MM for 5.3.

A lot of possibilities,

Scatter healer and binding area infront to stun teammates trying to cover trap.
Binding healer behind a pillar when he's LOS pillar humping.
Extra peel for melee to rotate with master's call (both 45 sec CDs)

I really want to play PHDK as MM next patch, I was really hoping that wild quiver datamine was something good but it wasn't.

If they changed the damage back to nature based damage on wild quiver it would honestly be an amazing mastery then and actually do consistent damage rather than being all over the place depending on what kind of armor target you hit.

Because you can roar of sac during everything?  

And with a shorter cast time it's easier to res a pet if it drops running cunning spec.

no one gets intimidation

it needs to be picked instead of wyvern sting or silencing shot on the third tier

I tried this on live, and it's not as easy as you think. Remember binding shot only stuns for 3 seconds in pvp, trapping on web wrap 3 second is tight enough especially on orc healers, try doing it when you have to wait until they are fully knocked back from explosive trap to place ur trap. You will get like 1.5-2 seconds to throw your trap and get it to arm. also on vertical maps, it will be really hard
