Yeah since resilience is removed from the pvp gears indeed, but all item levels are going to be lowered to 496 so... need to see !

You can take all of those statistics and throw them out the window because warriors have the mobility of a stop sign and are crap FCs anyways.

PVE gear with extra sockets will clearly be the way to go in 5.3. As for actual fc class' I can see feral being the best as mobility and utility seem to be far better than raw damage mitigation for fc's these days

it might be like how lfr is where i can queue as healer and be in ele spec or an arms warrior queuing as tank

so even if thats the case it'd only complicate very few rbg make-ups

Yeah seems true, i personally hope that they wont delete FCs (because i don't see so much arms warriors in high rated rbgs lol, like enhance, ret paladins...)

Well all that dodge and parry on pve tanking gear doesn't seem like much help against nearly full wizard comps everyone's running. A couple extra gems slots probably aren't going to make it mandatory for FC's either. I think groups will just stick to using rogues or boomkins. Warlocks won't work due to poor mobility. And no, none will be inviting ferals just to carry the flag on two maps when they can get an extra lock instead. I agree that a feral in bear form with dispersion is probably the best you can do, but it's just not worth taking a useless class for such a slight benefit on only 2 maps. Besides, it requires a spriest. Why bother bringing a feral + spriest when you can have 2 more locks or/and boomkins?

That, together with extra 20% damage taken (instant 2 stacks), will make games a lot more dynamic in terms of going for an fc zerg right off the bat. Mage + rogue sneaking to the rogue or boomkin fc with that many stacks = dead fc in one stun.

Overall, this looks like a horrible change, and I don't see how it can be worked out to be fun. Hopefully it will get reverted.

With Grip change to 4 targets and beam half the size and more responsive you will see a lot less boomkins i think... (warlocks on the other hand is another story)

Teleport is king on defense

Not sure if active mitigation can make up for tankspec penalty

Lol with those 600-700k PvE tanks unbuffed, don't know to how much life it's going to be rescaled to 496 but for real i think it could be viable.

What if Stam gems > Resil gems...

imo FC specs are still going to be okay, only fact is that FC or DPS spec, games will be much faster (no more 25min games).

Imo :
Monks DPS holding the flag = no
Druids boomys = sure they can speed but they're getting OS lol
Locks = Why not...

With the 27k achievement, druids will still have the possibility to get 1 gear for FC and 1 gear for DPS or healer, same for warriors

But in the overall, with this change FC specs will approx take 25% more dmgs, (from my maths on the page 1), what we need to see is if the FC specs compared to the DPS specs are taking -25% dmgs or more to see if we'll still use FCs, and i'm not counting every defensive abilities that FCs have.

I'm sure blizzard isn't doing this change to remove FCs, pretty much more for make flag maps games faster...
