How close are the boom towns in Canada to the oil/mining operations?

I think there are places in Africa where people practically live in the oil. Sucks
Oil operations are usually out in the middle of nowhere.  There are a lot of mining towns but houses are not within walking distance.  The towns were also generally formed sometime between 1900-1930, when environmental safety procedures were anything but strict.

Kind of interesting..I have heard of mine companies basically moving towns so that they could open-pit the current location.
I'm always right.

j => h  happens in a lot of languages. he spoke of an oil engineering aprenticeship, which makes me think norway; however there's a number of countries that do that, with norway being the biggest in that field. if that happens to be the case, him bragging about getting a 3500usd christmas bonus is hilarious.

only the far southern countries in europe may have their "j => h" sound, noone in their right mind who's living in scandinavia would spell it "jaja" instead of "haha".

Take a moment to ponder, but not too hard.  We wouldn't want you getting a brain aneurysm now.

I don't know why you think that, when I've repeatedly stated otherwise. Not that it really matters.

Fairly sure there is some law against individuals driving a vehicle when they cannot see over the steering wheel as well.

I don't know if there is such a law, but even if there is, I'm not personally affected by it.

You're running out of ideas.

Not surprising for someone who plays with rocks all day.

Apparently midgets are allowed to drive cars with special setups on the steering wheel to control gas/brake.  Guess that makes sense.

It's probably a similar setup to ones used by handicapped/amputee drivers.
