i dont think bm intim change will hurt most comps. as thugcleave it generally just extends dr on everything even non focus targets due to how stupid subterfuge and CnD is.

it'll definately hurt some bm comps but wont be a game ender

Can you please elaborate instead of saying 12y old stuff?

Give me some math, give me some logic in youre statements.
I find it perfectly logical to buff youreself with haste and focus when the pet regains the frenzy stacks in matter of 10-15seconds(Depending on RNG but it should be around that number.)

My contribution for the macro section:

These macros will update your tooltip everytime you switch talent or pet.

Level 90 talent tree macro

#showtooltip
/use Glaive Toss
/use Powershot
/use Barrage
/run local G=GetSpellInfo SetMacroSpell("Powershot", G"Glaive Toss" or G"Powershot" or "Barrage")

Level 30 talent tree macro ( Make sure to name the macro Silencing)

/stopcasting
/cast [target=mouseover,exists,nodead]Silencing Shot; Silencing Shot
/cast [target=mouseover,exists,nodead]Wyvern Sting;Wyvern Sting
/run SetMacroSpell("Silencing",GetSpellInfo("Silencing Shot") or "Wyvern Sting")

Level 30 talent tree focus macro (Make sure to name the macro Silence)

/stopcasting
/cast [target=focus, exists, nodead] Silencing Shot; Silencing Shot
/cast [target=focus, exists, nodead] Wyvern Sting; Wyvern Sting
/run SetMacroSpell("Silence",GetSpellInfo("Silencing Shot") or "Wyvern

Focus pet CC abilities( Make sure to name the macro Focus pet attack)

/cast [pet: Shale Spider, target=focus, exists]Web Wrap
/cast [pet: Crane, target=focus, exists]Lullaby
/cast [pet: Monkey, target=focus, exists] Bad Manner
/run SetMacroSpell("Focus pet attack",GetSpellInfo("Web Wrap") or "Lullaby") or "Bad Manner")

Pet CC/heal

#showtooltip [pet:Shale Spider]Web Wrap;[pet:crane]Lullaby;Spirit Mend
/use [pet:Shale Spider,@mouseover,harm][pet:Shale Spider]Web Wrap
/use [pet:crane,@mouseover,harm][pet:crane]Lullaby
/use [@mouseover,help][@player]Spirit Mend

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Focus Scatter macro/Scare Beast (alternatively you can make it another skill instead of Scare Beast like Multishot)

#showtooltip
/cancelaura hand of protection
/cancelaura deterrence
/cast [nomod,target=focus] scatter shot
/cast [nomod,target=pettarget] growl
/cast [mod:alt,target=mouseover,harm][harm] Scare Beast

Focus Tranq Shot/Revive pet (again you can make another skill instead of Revive Pet like Mend pet)

#showtooltip
/cast [nomod, @focus] tranquilizing shot
/cast [mod:alt] Revive Pet

Master's Call (It will always run to you and target you unless you choose to target someone else with mouseover, ctrl, or shift.)

#showtooltip
/petfollow
/use [@mouseover,help][mod:ctrl,@TEAMMATENAME1][mod:shift,@TEAMMATENAME2][] Master's Call
/cast Dash

Was curious so I just tested on Hunter. New so mostly honor gear but I'd expect the ratio of auto attacks between Hunter and Pet to be about the same as full Tyrannical.

Hunter auto damage was about equal with Shale Spider's auto damage with 5 stack Frenzy. So giving the pet 16.7% less auto to give myself 30% more auto definitely seems worth it.

The pet also gets an instant 30 Focus AND it increased my Focus regen by about 1.5 per second so I got about 30 focus over the 20 seconds of Focus Fire. Cobra and Powershot were also faster. There are also minor things such as more white attacks that can crit to give the pet focus, leading to more pet damage and Frenzy stacks.

However, if your pet doesn't reach 5 stacks again before FF falls off you could lose dps but that's more of a PvE way of thinking about it.

All that matters for PvP is that Focus Fire with 5 stacks will increase your dps slightly (I would guess around 5-10%) over the next 20 seconds. Also to note that it's even more worth it if you have higher uptime than your pet.

Nice number breakdown, good input! Thanks.

I also love using this ability combined with Fervor. Since focus is more situational Thrill of the hunt is a bad choice for arena imo.

There will always be a time when the target is at 10% and ure out of focus since you choosed Thrill of the hunt.

thrill of the hunt is really nice for keeping pressure without draining any focus, with the 5.3 changes upcoming i feel it will be the go to talent with hunters doing less burst and more consistent dmg

Forgot to mention, you need to put in the name of the macro in the place where is says MACRONAME

#showtooltip
/use Glaive Toss
/use Powershot
/use Barrage
/run local G=GetSpellInfo SetMacroSpell("MACRONAME", G"Glaive Toss" or G"Powershot" or "Barrage")

I tried to switch it to the macro name, but still not working.

This is how it sets up in the macro window for me.

If we have less burst you'll need to tailor your spec even more to get burst, not less.^^

Sustained damage is no good unless you go TBC style and play every game to win on mana.

I fucking LOVE Fervor as Marks.
Bye again! This game isn't fun when you don't know anyone else that still plays.

You need to shoot it once on a target before it loads.

I think TOtH is best currently anyway because the more arcanes you get off the higher the chance you have to stack cobra strikes for your pet and it will be even more important in 5.3 because blink strike is getting changed into a damage buff for pet basic attacks.

Far better is it to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure... than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy much nor suffer much, because they live in a gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat.

i see alot of hunters reforging as MM for: crit > mastery > haste. anyone know what stat priority is now for MM 5.4 ? haste seems to not make a big difference is you go full haste or go badically none.
