Shuriken Toss now costs 40 Energy, up from 20. Base damage and AP scaling doubled.

the dmg increase is unwarranted even with the energy cost increase, rogues shouldnt have any substantial damage from range considering their current melee dmg

Also 1 minute cloak needs to go...its too short, needs to be at least 1 min 30 sec among other rogue nerfs that need to happen.

I'd say giving deadly throw a cooldown, gimping toss (instead of buffing it because of PvE), nerfing cloak and dagger (maybe making it an activated ability with charges or something or a icd between jumps), getting rid of pve trinkets already and nerfing mind numbing/necrotic strike to 10% slowcast would be the right thing to do than 1minute cloak.

You can't give something that uses combo points a cooldown(Deadly Throw). The change they did to Toss is perfect around the balancing issue. Who the fuck in their right mind is going to spam toss now? With it being at 40 energy....

40 energy isn't that much. This patch and 5.1 toss gave more combo points than you can even use if you used it correctly. Even more so with the built in auto attacks this patch if you pooled while HaT give you combo points you don't need the mash the button every gcd you aren't on your target...

Deadly throw is actually absurd and will still be absurd next patch if it doesn't get a cooldown. It's a bigger joke than warriors were with disrupting shout last season.

No melee class should have multiple interrupts. Just the passive effect of mind numbing and lockdown with garrote/stuns is insane enough. Your logic on just because it costs combo points means it shouldn't have a CD is like saying kidney shot shouldn't have a cd...

All it does is that you can actually burst with toss now or what?

It cuts CP generation in half, so you can't spam interrupt with DT any more. And yes, it also increases "burst", if you can call it that.

DT Won't be absurd with ST being 40 energy. The whole issue was having combo build up so fast that you were able to DT all the fucking time. And it's DT is completely different than KS. KS is a stun, DT is an interrupt. They did the perfect solution to fix that issue and upped the cost of ST. And I have never seen some one spam DT in arenas... Maybe in duels, but do duels matter? No... Of course not. On top of it, there's only like 10% of the rogue pop that even go DT, most of them go for Combat Readiness...

Shouldve just doubled the energy and left the damage the same, its going to be 40-50k non crit without cd's now

Shuriken Toss now deals 100% more damage in the initial ranged attack, damage is no longer doubled when used on targets farther than 10 yards away, and energy cost has been increased to 40 energy, up from 20.

so they left dmg as it was.
