I am back on my rogue after a couple of years, and I found myself pretty much behind on knowledge regarding ideal burst sequences as standard sub build with 130nrg and Subterfuge.

So question is, which is your fav sequence and how you set the process up in these two cases:

1. superhard opener including dance (lets assume a caster target)
2. swap omgwtf kill

Feel free to go in detail like: "make sure rupture and snd up, wait for 5 cp and and max nrg then start this sequence ....", or "make sure you dont overlap subterfuge with dance...".

Any help will be appreciated, to spare me some time spent in frustration.

Couple meaning two years? Much hasn't changed, that's for sure. Almost the same rotation...

While Im not a pro rogue or anything, I use:

Premed into Slice and Dice
Cheap shot into 2 CP Rupture
Dance (and onuse) into 2x ambush into 4cp Kidney
1x ambush followed by 1x garrote
Evis last CPs away

Takes full resi healers from 100%-5%

If someone could tell me if thats even good, that'd be great.. :P

This rotation is only for Shadow Focus spec. Subterfuge makes it a whole new ball game.

You want as many evises as possible since you are stacking mastery and you barely have any of those.

OP burst with subterfuge/marked for death/cloak and dagger:

premed -> Slice and Dice
Garrote -> wait .5 s and hope bars don't bug, pop dance/blades/trinket etcetc.  If you have shadopan assault trinket, it likes to proc on open, which is even better ->
Ambush-> 5 CP Eviscerate -> Cheap -> Ambush -> Evisc -> Marked for Death -> Evisc -> Ambush/backstab -> kidney or evisc

BUBBLE.

Can get most pallies to bubble by myself in the first 5 seconds after opening without MFD, which makes them an easy kill regardless.  Save MFD for after bubble, Play with priest, get fast mass dispell, vanish for garrote to get sanguinary vein and stop any heals, MFD evisc -> ded.

Though half the time, in 2s at least, I can kill paladins before bubble.

Same here, but I like having anticipation way better. I can get about 3 evis's off.

I really enjoy MFD/CnD/Subterfuge vs priest teams.  If priest lifeswaps to heal their partner, can vanish garrote them instantly and get some huge pressure out in the silence (two eviscerates with sanguinary up.)

Also MFD focus kidneys are incredibly easy to sap off, don't even need a stop attack macro

priests for some reason are still the hardest healers to kill for me. Dunno why.
And they tend to invis when they swap asap.

Two things to add:
You should pop blades in stealth right before opener to have the initial garrote give that additional combo,
And also you should pop dance only after the garrote -> ambush -> 5cp evis cycle right before cheap shot.

At least this is how I do.

Most of the time using blades in the opener is awful and stupid so.

Dance reduces energy cost of ambush by 20, btw.  Can still open like that, but if you want the bonus energy, dance before ambush.  And ye generally don't pop 3 min offensive CDs on the open if you're fighting at high mmr.

It's pretty logical, isn't it. Paladins with a shield and plate armor die faster to melee classes than a priest wearing a wand and a cloth robe.
