Things to know:

1) Hey, your T2 weapon won´t fix anything!
-They are lowering ilvl of all items in arena. If you had t2 2/2 last season its pretty much as good as it gets.

2) Hey, 5.3 will fix the warrior class
-Yes! 5.3 will make it so we dont die as fast. They are decreasing damage taken in battle stance by -10% (Up from 0%) as a 2-set bonus and they are just passivly decreasing damage taken in defensive stance to -25% as well!
-One small thing though, 5.3 will still take quite a while. Don´t get your hopes up.

3)Hey, why are warriors getting haste gear?
-Haste offparts are good because haste got buffed + more haste means more rage now.
-But slythxyo, I am never in battlestance anyway, so fuck haste! - Hey random WoW player, thank you for your feedback. Your battlestance will become somewhat useful next patch since they´re pretty much making battlestance like defensive is now, which means you can actually sit it once in a while.



Any other things people should know?

Will the 2200 enchant for weapon become the best enchant or will Dancing steel still be top dog? That's assuming that the 10% dmg reduction in battle stance replaces our current set bonus?

10% bstance reduction was gutted today.

Battle Stance Damage Reduction Decreases damage taken while in Battle Stance by 10%. Rank 1. Disarm duration reduced by 50%. Rank 1.

And here I was, actually looking forward to 5.3... why revert the good change... I just don't get it...

I think the disarm set bonus is needed so nevermind - you need to sit defstance in 3s anyway!

Or can you forecast any stun into deep ololol chocho train combo?

summarized my thoughts.  i'd rather not be penalized for trying to do my damage rotation, so i'll just deal with defensive stance i guess.

honestly if they would just fix the fucking damage in this game, battle stance with no damage reduction would be fine.  mages killing people in single deeps, necrotics being ridic + frost burst,  damage from a lot of classes  i guess, shit is completely silly.  A mage can kill me in a deep freeze blanket on my pallyand thats 40% reduction, so i don't think the 25% d stance is going to do much anyways, and niether is the 10% battle stance.

i wish i had like 150% resil sometimes.

Haha, my sentiment exactly.

Also isn't it silly that at this point at least half the classes/specs have a passive dmg reduction? War bstance, sp shadowform, boomkin, mage armor, etc. The other half of classes/specs are asking for one. If everybody has or is asking for a passive dmg reduction wouldn't it be more prudent to just buff overall resil and get rid of all the bloat abilities?

It's the same problem with speed increases. Everybody must have a +movement speed increase these days as melee for whatever reason. If most classes have a passive 20%+ movement speed increase why are you excluding the few that are left? And if you're not going to excluse the few that are left, why not just increase the movement speed overall at that point if you feel characters are too slow? I would argue though that they are too fast with a server/client based game and should be all brought back down to 100%.

I feel like armor is outdated, at least with the amount of armor pen/ignore. DKs/Wars are forced to sit in their defensive stance 24/7 so they don't get globaled by a rogue.

I don't keep track with the updates, someone else can confirm if they want, but several things ive heard of possibly coming

Battle Fatigue healing nerf will become 50%, up from 30%
Demonic gateway will have a reduced cast time, but you can kill the gateways
Pvp power will give healers and classes with off heals more of a benefit towards healing (possibly + 10-15% healing buff from pvp power)

Could be wrong, someone else can fact check, just what I've heard

it wouldn't be a big deal if warriors could do anything in d-stance, blizz acknowledges the problem with unholy is they can afford to sit blood and do damage.  warriors just not so much.

warriors will be to stronk... theres no 100% balance for that class
