PvP
  • Battle Fatigue now reduces the amount of healing and absorbs by 50%, up from 30%.
  • PvP Power bonus to healing for healing specializations has been increased to 100%, up from 50% for Druids, Monks, Paladins, Priests, and Shamans.

now they have to adjust the %-age selfheals to not render them useless at any given time...

jesus there buffing boomkins heals? i already do 400k healing touch crits.

It depends on your healing power, how much of a nerf it is. But generally it's a 11-14% nerf to healing output. I made a spreadsheet so you guys can try with your own PvP power. Just copy it and paste it in your own spreadsheet in order to edit

Also, it's quite a nerf to those classes that don't have their healing power increased: specifically DKs and warriors

imagine your boomkin has a heal that does 1000 healing, and you have pvp power that currently gives you 100% damage increase and 25% healing increase

before the patch, you will heal for 1000 * 1.25 = 1250 before battle fatigue, 1250 * 0.7 = 875 after battle fatigue
after the patch, you will heal for 1000 * 1.75 = 1750 before battle fatigue, 1750 * 0.5 = 875 after battle fatigue, so no change for hybrid healing

It may be a nerf to a DK's self-healing, but it is a tangential buff to necrotic strike, esp. when training healers, unless I am much mistaken.

Blizzard said they are going to allow pvp power to increase war/dk/rogue/lock/ect healing to help off set the buff to BF.

Lol blizz, how about Warrior Dk Rogues Warlock Hunter healings ? I just test PTR Death pact and Conversion on my DK and i was shocked , DEATH pact heals me for ~75k in duel with rogue , conversion heals me for 4500~ , lichborne heals me for 30k per death coil, its epic fail, PvP power should give some % heal for all DPS classes not only for stupid hybrids /facepalm
Healing on my Rshamy have not changed while combat, same numbers, but %scaling from PvP power was increased from 21%(live) to 53%.

Tested in duel, anyway Battle Fatigue work equally in duel, arena or battleground.

You are totally wrong. It all depends on the amount of PvP power one has. Let's try with another amount, 51% PvP power, ie 12,75 healing power (for hybrid healing):

Before the patch, you will heal for 1000 * 1,1275 = 1175,5 before battle fatique, 1275,5 * 0,7 = 892,85
After the patch, you will heal for 1000 * 1.3825 = 1382,5 before battle fatigue, 1382,5 * 0.5 = 691,25 after battle fatigue, so a nerf for hybrid healing at normal PvP power levels. At higher amount of PvP power, it's not a nerf.

New proposed PvP Power numbers. Healers: 100%, Druid/Monk/Paladin/Shaman DPS: 70% Others: 40% Battle Fatigue: 45%.

The new proposed numbers seem to be a barely noticeable 2.5-3.5% nerf to healing done, and they increase the value of pvp power to all specs alot. With 65% base resilience and the increase in pvp power and it's value, it might actually be better gemming power over resilience.

So, Battle Fatigue was designed to counter PvP Power healing bonus, like Resilience to Damage Bonus. BUT!
Seems that Battle Fatigue effects Second Wind talent, but Second Wind's healing doesn't effected by PvP Power!
It's like if some ability's damage would be reduced by Resilience, but not buffed by PvP Power!
So it heals like 1% per tick instead of 3%!
IT SHOULD BE FIXED!
Second Wind's healing and any other Warrior's abilities should be reduced only by  Mortal Wounds effect, not beeing reduced to half by "Battle Fatigue" that supposed to counter PvP Power healing bonus which has no effect on Warriors!
P.S. Yes. My English is terrible, but I hope Blizzard will see and understand how important it is what I'm trying to say here.

It's been like this for a while, they really need to do something about it. I'm honestly sick of DP healing for 25% instead of 50%

the original battle fatigue wasn't put in to counteract pvp power healing, it was put in because healing was fucking ridiculous.  With no battle fatigue in holy shock would be healing for almost 200k crits.

The onnly battle fatigue that was put in because of pvp power is the newest one.

PvP Power will increase % heals like Second Wind..
