also, going to stop the pve gear that would have been largely better than pvp gear next patch.


these "bs" changes are amazing changes

good changes for 5.3 healers. not sure the numbers are perfect yet, but the idea seems ok.
Still waiting for something regarding rbg tanks :(

Yes , pve gear is the biggest problem in arena right now, lol.. And don't say trinkets, lowering their ilvl will give the procs something like 7k, which is still huge.
I am personally sick of opening "huge overhaul", "more changes" threads to see bs changes that in essence no one cares about.
I want to see stuff like, extra stuns , interrupts, instant ccs that are added on mop removed, they are so easy to remove and will make the game more enjoyable.
Stuff like tremor totem that every single person who plays this game knows that it's broken, needs to go as well.

if they didn't make these changes, there would be people in pvp next patch with 535-541 pve gear compared to  493 pvp gear.

Heroic geared healers would have been able to gem resil, and run around with about 700+ int on each piece compared to their pvp counterparts.

Some DPS trinkets would be even more obsurd than the vendor ones now.

For example:  http://www.wowhead.com/item=96785  Imagine getting hit by a frost bomb exploding/ffb/ice lance,  or a devouring plague with someone almost having 16k extra int towards the end of the proc.


This was a preemptive measure, and a fantastic one.  If you think that is silly, well you are free to your opinion, but if you can't see how this is a fantastic preemptive change, I'm not sure what to tell you.

Good luck killing a holy paladin with as much resil as you can get in pvp gear, 524k hp, and 31k unbuffed spellpower.  It literally wouldn't happen, i can live with 61% resil right now just fine with 20k spellpower and 379k hp.

That's not even including the fact that upgrades would still be in 5.3 for PvE gear, so those stats would be even crazier.

The above is an extreme example, but there would be people like that, just as there were other seasons.

I'm pretty sure they're reintroducing upgrades for PvE again, so the difference you posted would be even bigger. Certainly not any "bs changes", besides you might as well stop visiting threads if all you're hoping for is to see instant CC gone, because it wont. They can't make major changes during an expansion.
