So next patch I'll have somewhere over 50% PvP Power as Holy, which will show up on my character as "50% increased healing to players in PvP."

Does that mean the increase to PvP Power will fully counteract the Battle Fatigue increase?  Seems like it would to me, but I'm not good with math or how numbers interact with each other in game.  Any math wizards want to comment without being a condescending turd?

If you bothered to read the 1-page thread, it's been posted to be a 5% healing nerf to pure healers and no net change to hybrids.

Edit: Condescending your laziness, not your inability to multiply.

Try to make them use RoP b4 u dance.

Edit or cc them when u dance

Ring of Peace has a shorter cooldown than dance.

The worst thing about the ability is when you leave the ring and are still silenced/disarmed for like 5 seconds. Same problem as solar beam.

45 seconds for something to powerful and easy to use is silly. Needs to be over a minute for sure.

I guess the battle fatigue change will also be a nerf to the self healing of the non healer / hybrid classes.

You shouldn't notice a difference in output it just means that PvP power doesn't suck complete ass like right now. Not sure if it'll be better then intellect though.

idk what they're supposed to do, half of the games end in 46 seconds, the other half end in 28 minute timeout ties

Something that has been overlooked is this:

When using name plates, castbars will now display for all NPCs.

Which is sweet

Because currently castbars display only for your target or focus. Addons that try to add them to other nameplates are based on parsing combat log and guessing. Now we will have ACTUAL cast bars on all units visible.

Unless they literally enable it only for NPCs, which I doubt.

They enabled it for arenas. You can see it here:

No,

Yes. Unless Blizzard have specifically mentioned somewhere how it won't be. All DK self heals, and absorbs if I'm not mistaken, are currently affected by battle fatigue so I see no reason why they wouldn't be affected by the new 50% battle fatigue.

On paper it's a huge nerf to healing once again for actual healers.

If you're gemmed resil then you'll be sat around 42% pvp power or 21% on the char sheet as a healer right now.

In 5.2 - 0.7*1.21= 0.847 Modifier
In 5.3 - 0.5*1.42= 0.71 Modifier

That's 0.71/0.847 which means you'll be doing 84% of the healing you did in 5.2 or a hefty 16% nerf.

should have been included on the post really. non hybrids aren't getting as nerfed as thought for self healing.

stop making bs changes like base resil %65, battle fatigue change / pvp power increase, honor gear pvp power, weapon ilvl, elite gear, tabard etc , non of those are relevant when the game play needs a lot of fixes

-remove stuns , interrupts, instant ccs added during mop
-revert the whole dispel system back to cata.
-remove extra trinket abilities.

before more people who actually play this game say fuck this game & quit and we are left with 5 gladiator spots on every bg.

Seems we gain quite a lot of extra resil (70+% is very possible) on ptr and quite a chunk of PvP power from certain places as a healer.
Overall the healing feels very similar to live.

These 'bs' changes are going to make pve gear obsolete in pvp, which is something people have been asking since tbc.
