This is the rogue paradox - vs casters they are really strong. They can still die, but the chances of being blown up are slim. Vs melee they just flop over and die. I get 90k crits on rogues with feint up.

Is it weird that I prefer fighting rogues over 5.1 warriors just because rogues usually don't play with male belf paladins who backpedal blinding light me?

It is not so effective for hunters because powershot scales with weapon damage. It is more effective for rogue because eviscerate scales with attackpower. my hunter friend got the trinket, and went from doing good damage, to globaling people without even using powershot.

its just as amazing for hunters as rogues, they are all going to be amazing until 5.3 or they get nerfed.

Not even close.

This sounds vaguely familiar to what people said about rogues in cata.  Gear is not the problem, the class is the problem.  Being able to use cheap shot, sap, garrote, etc basically on demand is not a good design.  The amount of control rogues have over healers and casters in general is over the top, gear doesn't affect that.

5.0 Warriors were incredibly obnoxious for the exact same reason rogues are obnoxious right now - all of the control, except rogue damage isn't as high as Warrior damage was back then.

Subterfuge is seriously the stupidest shit Blizzard ever dreamed up.

You can outplay the rogue 6 ways to hell, he can be a mouthbreathing moron, and it doesn't fucking matter. He gets off his opener no matter fucking what.

The only thing that can counter a rogue opener right now is another rogue. And that talent is the root of the problem. There's no difference between a good rogue and a bad one now.
Bye again! This game isn't fun when you don't know anyone else that still plays.

I just love how you can watch the rogue spasming towards your healer with full dots, randomy vanishing and starting to cheap shot etc, shaman drops to 20% before the rogue comes out of stealth.
