let alone when the rogue gets back into range .. kick, garotte, cheap, gouge, kidney + dance all the usual stuff etc let a lone cloak and dagger.

Hard casting is almost impossible

Shuriken Toss + Deadly Throw is borderline OP, thoughts on removing/reducing combo point generation from Shuriken toss?

You've also got to keep in mind that to get that damage when we're being kited we give up MfD, which is itself an amazing talent. Actually, I'd say that most rogues just blindly pick shuriken toss vs most comps even though they'd be better off picking up MfD. I pretty much only take ST vs mage teams. (Ofcourse this depends on your comp.) If they made ST not generate combopoints like some people suggest, most rogues would just pick MfD vs everything instead. (and it would make deadly throw almost useless compared to the alternatives, outside of focus MfD/redirect + DT interrupt)

TL;DR There's no easy way to nerf ST without making people completely abandon it for MfD. If blizzard do decide that it needs a nerf, the only proper way to nerf it is to hit deadly throw. (making it only interrupt at 5cp, and possibly for a shorter duration, like ~3 sec, although DT is already a lackluster talent if not paired with ST.)

It'll be funny when ST gets nerfed into the ground and every rogue starts playing MfD,the extra burst you get with MfD can be pretty crazy. Soon we'll have threads calling for MfD nerfs.

That is why I think Toss shouldn't be nerfed. MfD / Nightstalker rogue openers are brutal and as soon as everyone realizes how easy they are the forums will fill with tears about rogues.

Don't care if it's nerfed, it's good vs double caster teams, aside that mark is better vs any other comp

*edit totally offtopic but, getting sick of the subterfuge bug, they seriously need to fix this. i've debated getting rid of this talent numerous times, never tried nightstalker for openers because it seems terrible, how/why would this be good at all?

i guess nightstalker could be good if you had some sort of perfect setup. mages would be the optimal rape target.

open garrote( for find weakness+veins), force blink somehow, vanish the nova premed ambush evis, MFD evis. can't see it being good against anything but mages/hunters due to they wouldn't know the dmg burst is coming.

Actually no. DT only stops a cast if its 3+ combo points. If they make it so it's 5+combo points only, then the problem will be fixed. DT doesn't need a CD on it since it's used with combo points.

where's the love for anticipation?  I can see the appeal of mark, but I like the idea of being able to double evisc or burst whenever I feel like it, instead of once per minute.  yes, it will cost extra energy and time, but isn't burst built around coordination and not "oh, he's low, better evisc"?  I can see exceptions for this (eg. thug opener burst)

maybe I'm too used to using anticipation from last season, but I feel awkward seeing rogues only talk about toss or mark

also: trolling wizards and healers in duels with ST/DT legendary dags. build stacks with ST and spam DT, gg

Completely agree with this, I can't stand knowing I have to wait for a cooldown. When anticipation does the same exact thing and it's passive. No need for more keybinds or replacing keybinds.
