Aside from the 5/5 tyranical and rings/trinks, for the off pieces what do you guys think will be the best combination of gear?

Neck: Prowess

Back: Prowess

Wrist: Alacrity (because we have too much hit rating as it is, if we go for accuracy we would just be wasting the hit...) instead with this we get 388 mastery and haste to be reforged to crit or expertise if ur cappin it.

Belt: Cruelty

Boots: Cruelty

What do you guys think about http://www.wowhead.c...=94511#comments for rogues, been using it in bg's and the proc is insane, but since  I am terrible at thinking myself, is it worth it?

using the stat weights from the rogue guide after the hotfix it now seems...
  • The pvp proc trinket (including the passive pvp power) increases your damage by 28.62% when it procs
  • The Shado pan trinket increases your damage by 40.28% when it procs
So yes it still seems very viable, an 11.66% damage increase over the insignia when they proc.  Things to note though, the PvP trinket has around 40% uptime were as the shado pan one has around 20%.

You can reforge the hit on the shado pan trinket to mastery and due to the high amount of hit on the trinket you can forgo any other hit offset items meaning a further boost to your mastery.  You do however lose resil.

So TLDR: with the PvP trinket you will have higher sustained damage but lower burst damage during procs than the Shado pan trinket.  However you will have more uptime on the proc which in turn gives you more opportunity's to burst.

Don't forget about PvP Power and Resilience on the PvP trinket. They outweigh the hit/mastery on the PvE trinket quite abit.

yeah I included that when I was calculating.  The pvp trinket is also a 5.5% boost to your sustained damage at all times with the passive PvP power
