Vortex through pillars - fair?

As title says - should vortex pull people THROUGH pillars? It's happened to me on Nagrand and Sewers so far.

no vortex+solarbeam itself is a retarded and not fair mechanic, they should remove this shit from the game(i.e. if you use vortex your solarbeam is on cd for the duration and vice versa)

also while I am at it, remove fucking knockbacks from arena

The vortex will only pull you if the druid is within LoS of you.

not sure why there are so many abilities that move other players in the game. i though deathgrip alone was ridiculous but now theres just knockbacks everywhere and vortexes. if you play against a dk ele rdruid or something you could actually go on a rollercoaster ride

Let me try to understand this:

                          pillar
                          vvv
Druid + Vortex  (||||||||||)  Me

If i'm on the other side of the pillar from the druid and the vortex, then it won't pull me THROUGH the pillar? But if the druid is standing next to me, even though the vortex is on the other side of the pillar, I'll still get pulled through?

i would even go to say that hunters are even worse Powershot --> explosive Trap (even while in a Freezing Trap)

I thought the whole point of knock backs was originally to keep melee off classes that were trained all day long and couldnt get away easily or do damage while being cleaved (Ele & Moonkins)

Sure if you give me iceblock, blink, and a frost orb type mechanic that plays the class for me and gives me instant auto crit procs.

You'll be gripped through LoS 1/100th of the times that vortex will completely forget to pull you back in.

I don't think vortex has ever failed to grip me back in. Even if I get life gripped 20 yards away, I'll still go soaring back to the vortex.
