all the stats are going to scale down to 496, int will be the same on pve pieces as pvp pieces inside pvp areas

Removing Resilience from most PVP gear and bumping the baseline up to 65% makes it much easier to get started with a new/undergeared characters. If they are leaving in resil gems and some resil on a few key items it will still be possible to go a bit higher if you want to build your character for survivability.
Of course all of that would have had the side effect of flooding PVP with PVE gear, but the item scaling combined with PVP power on PVP gear should make PVP gear even MORE competitive than it is today. We might still see the ocassional OP trinket or set bonus make its way into PVP, but overall I think this will actually make PVP gear unquestionably the best gear for PVP.

Hopefully they don't fuck up the implementation and make PVE gear better. But considering this is so early in the PTR, I have faith in the "spirit" of this change, and I expect that they will work to eliminate any loopholes before this goes live.
My only concern is that 65% is pretty low resilience, I'm already 2-3% above that in almost full honor gear. Damage will get very high if we can't have more than 65% resil.

I like the changes but they are kind of "WTF" at the same time since they blow out a lot of things we were used to since TBC, not something i expected to see in a minor patch.
