Flameglow, yay or nay?

If you look at recount death logs in arena matches, usually there are a few big hits, which everyone likes to highlight, but there are also a huge amount of smaller hits that also play a large part in killing you. Flameglow is 30% mitigation against all of these small hits, which makes it a very strong option against almost any team but the burstiest of teams (think Destruction Lock + Mage + Healer comps).

Examples: Unholy DK, Rogue, Boomkin, Warlock, BM hunter.
It's tough to justify taking a (1/5) of your spell power shield if you take (2/3) of your spell power in damage when you can have a 80,000 damage absorbtion every 25 seconds. You have to take something like 20 hits above 14,000 damage in less than 25 seconds to have an equivalent effect.
Maybe it's just personal experience speaking. But, solo play? I don't think I'd ever use it.
