68% resil, molten armor + glyph for 16% physical reduction, passive flameglow absorbs on every attack.

quit the game, if you read flameglow it only absorbs 4k (up to a maximum of 30% of the atk) depending on spell power....

dw. 80% w:l vs any comp without hunter. 20% w:l vs any comp with hunter.

so far ive noticed: if you havent been globaled within the first min you have 3 options:

- kill 2 pets ( which will never happen if your healer is any good )
- go hunter and still get destoryed by the assist/hunter dmg
- go assist and hunter can just jump around controlling every healer and 1shotting whoever he wants with powershot


i dont really much about hunters atm. but what actually counters somthing like phd? because im finding it really hard to understand what comp can actually beat it. i mean as a dk with 68% res 10% blood pres losing 50% of my hp in a global. i wouldnt even want to imagine the numbers against cloth/leather ect

This is the same as bitching about chaos bolt tbh... I don't even play hunter very much anymore and I personally think it's a bad gimmickly ability. It's one of those things a good team is able to shut down and you'll end up doing no damage for trying to spam it out.

its more the fact you have to adapt your play towards hunters now. last season after hunters cooldowns atleast you knew you was safe for alittle bit. now it just feels like your always asecond away from being globaled.

it basically limits a huge amount of tactics which you can actually do. it just feels like you have to go on hunters to lock down the powershots. but it doesnt really hinder the hunters damage and also the assist will be shitting on your face.

it just feels there is way too much damage coming out of hunter/melee teams and adding powershot into the mix isnt helping; damage wise and tactic viability wise.

which yeah is basically the same as what your saying about chaos bolt. when you saw destro you had to control lockdown everything on them, but at the same time warlocks litreally did zero dmg. even if your stopping a hunter's powershot, there overall dmg is still disgusting just from there cooldowns alone

Your argument makes zero sense man. First of all you have to adapt your play against any class or comp or situation or anything. Second of all, most hunters will powershot with their cooldowns up, even if they don't it's still a minute cooldown. They didn't increase any numbers for BM, the only change is that you can BW while pet is los'ing and trinket also affects your pet.

yeah my bad, adapt was a bad word there. im trying to say you have  to adapt to a very limited amount of options compared to before. i know they didnt change the numbers on BM, thats my whole point. they do the same as before but now they have another cooldown which you have to "simply" stop him casting or line of sight it. which in gameplay is huge as fuck because they can be the moments when you need to switch targets up /play aggressive to force pressure ect but instead your having to start lubing your ass getting ready for  a trap into an blink/powershot.

but that from my pov. im guessing theres comps that are quite good against hunter melee teams. but as in general i think giving hunters powershot was the biggest mistake this season, they just dont need it.

if anything, half the cooldown, half the damage. i just dont think any ability in this game should be judged on "well its a long cast time so it should do alot of damage" because its not a good way of balancing a game.

It's a matter or when and when not, to say it. It's called timing. That, plus the fact you still think Priests healing is awful and their only utility tool is psyfiend (not sure how you forgot about offensive dispels, mass dispel, lifeswap, lifegrip and psychic horror - yes I listed them all, since you listed basicly all spells each other class had to make them sound overpowered).
