Nether tempest vs resto shamans and/or teams that make it difficult to get casts off, frost bomb vs everything else

Wish people would get more used to switching talents every game depending on what you are fighting instead of wanting one single spec to be the best

My personal opinion about why PHD/ATC/Beastcleave are not being that succesful on Tournaments is that in many cases it relies on the enemy making an error...In a sense, that makes them the underdog...Hunter's have never really been that OP. People just have the image that hunters should be something to be stomped over

I think Frost Bomb is a terribly designed spell/way to base mage gameplay around. Nether Tempest isn't particularly better since it isn't really indicative of traditional mage play, but I do enjoy playing NT a lot more, as I feel it lets me focus less on being a damage turret. Unfortunately mage gameplay has become a lot more linear, especially with NT in this case, due to the mana cost of spellsteal going up, certain buffs becoming undispellable, just a lot of the changes they have introduced since Wrath.

So yeah, NT for me either way, not that its the best in all situations but I don't think i'll ever like the way Frost Bomb plays.

Tbh when you playing something like RMP and your focus is 1 target  frostbomb will be better in almost everyway. For wizards like MLD/MLD/shatterplay/shatreeplay or ele mage disc NT will dance all over frostbomb any day of the week. A comp that is just swapping from 1 target to another bomb will be better but for a comp that everything has dots NT all the way.

Like I said, I already acknowledged Frost Bomb is better in several situations.

But i'd rather enjoy playing the game than be reduced to playing in a way that I don't enjoy.

swapping to someone, dipping them low, then swapping to someone else (healer in particular) while NT rots the other targets work really well, you can play RMS just like old school RLS
