Hello,

Recently I've been annoyed at the long 2v2 and 3v3 queues and assumed it was due to arena inactivity but now I think it might not be entirely due to that.

I had 3 teams queue 2v2 with in 100 MMR of me two on our battle group and one on another battlegroup but on our data center.

The result was a lot of times, all 3 of our teams sat over 5 min queues and then proceeded to queue into much lower teams than us, even though we had a few people who matched our MMR with in 100 in queue same time.

I repeated the same thing in 3v3 late at night and still the same result. While I had 3 friends on BG9 in queue for 8 minutes and getting 1300 teams, I was also in queue on my server and did not queue into them.


I can not imagine this is intended - anyone know why this is happening?

So if you are on certain battle grounds the queue system automatically stops allowing you to queue into people in queue at the same time within 100 MMR, and instead give you a 5-10 minute queue (and the other person an equally as long queue cross BG or not while you are in queue) and then get a 1600 team?

Yesterday q's on tich seemed absurdly long (we were even only at 2k-2.1k mmr)

It's pretty overboard when you know for a fact at least 3 separate teams from you are in the queue and all four teams(if you include your self) do not queue into each other when they are within 100 MMR, and instead 5+ min queue into a really low team.

Yup it's retarded.
Queue system should be like AT, every 30sec (afaik) it widens search 100 mmr up/down and you get a queue instantly if there's a team within range. It even tells you the rating it's searching at every time it changes

The problems with PvP systems need a lot more attention than they are receiving, that's the only way they will get fixed. The arena system - not just the matchmaking - is the most archaic and broken system in the entire game by now.

This, don't see what the problem would be having such a system? I'd gladly always meet cross BG if it always were against teams around my own MMR, don't see who wouldn't at any rating whatsoever. Getting tired of my most common queue pop to be 8.14.
