Warriors/BM hunters/totemic restoration are why warlocks are not doing amazing. They will be good next patch, theyre not even bad now, its just KFCs and shaman counter them, which is 99% of teams.

Rogues, dks and monks are getting buffed. All are great against locks.

If a decently geared dk or monk gets on me, I die, even with 68% resilience.

Locks are the only class that lost CC with MoP. This really isn't a bad thing overall, but damn I miss Shadowflame and baseline Death Coil.

Mugen i don't think it's just affliction i think it's just warlocks in general. Affliction is the strongest of all the specs for warlocks imo, most of the problem with warlocks is they revolve around Dark Soul, and if you train a warlock hes forced to use all of his defensive's almost instantly and they are long cooldowns.

I tried to do some arenas on PTR, this is just the same but without blood fear. Dunno why some guys are saying "warlock superstrong"

I would say that Warlocks are going to be mediocre, will still be outshined by Shadow Priests and Mages, and, worst of all, will still be boring to play.  We need KJC gone, baseline Coil + Howl + Shadowflame, SB:SS gone, and extra damage on DoTs.

Everything i've seen on ptr suggests that locks will be average at best. They might have some gimmicky comp like rls (popping cds out of aoe stealth and try to gib) but that's about it. Maybe scleave will make a comeback but who knows. So far it seems like it will be the same as this season except we lost blood fear.

best talent ever i love it , also warlock is not crazy but really really good . Everything looks good now on PTR and hopefully it goes live like that . To all QQ's - just get better..

There many comps with which you are able to get on the top with warlock on 5.2

Scleave with sham/hpal (DK is massive )
RLS or mw instead of shaman or ww monk instead of rogue.

one of the least enjoyable specs to play now :/ i have no idea how blizzard managed to destroy aff so badly and i seriously doubt they will ever be fixing it, like others have said it doesn't suck because it's a mediocre spec, it's just in no way fun to play anymore.

Locks are still going to be mediocre at best next patch, no reason to bring a warlock over a shadowpriest. Warlock damage is absolute garbage at the moment outside of Dark Soul and the nerf to blood fear (while needed) almost criples us, while 30 sec cooldown psyfiend still remains in the game. I havn't played on the PTR yet but from what i've heard mage damage got buffed and is already insane on live.. deep + orb needs to be addressed, simply cannot counter it, and a 20% buff to mind blast while warlock damage got nerfed. Time to reroll to an actual caster who can do damage.
