Judging by the PTR I would say  Priest >>>>>  Monk ~ Paladin ~ Shaman  > Druid. with the rise of rogues & melee cleaves i think some healing classes will just explode like paladins after trinket or shamans.

What do you guys think?

Right now priests are still ahead of other healers with the 30% passive dmg reduction even after fade nerf.

You do realize there are 2 more targets in the arena? Healing output of priests is still weak compared to others.

edit: not saying priest is shit, but it's beyond retarded to say priest is the best just because of 30% SELF passive damage reduction

no priest is good because of the utility the class has now , like changing those glyphs into passive for disc. I haven't played much on the ptr but judging by what i saw from those 2k+ mmr matches on ptr , over 60% of the healers in those teams is priest. I think priests will be the new " Shaman healer class " if they hit live like this.

edit : Blizzard did a good job balancing pvp in 5.2 so far with the exception of those pve trinkets for humans unless they buffed the pvp trinkets.

I am really confused about how people think disc will be best healer.

Though I only played some 2's as disc on ptr, I still felt behind on mana and healing, not to mention i'm often sitting there sucking my thumb, not able to provide note-worthy offdamage and cc.

Well I wouldn't call that utility. Blizzard just realized that priest is actually the only class that needs to glyph those abilities, so they had to change it to even things up.

Ya they should buff priest fear somehow the range on this is crap but still i felt  priest mana regen is op on the PTR , i was like wtf. A day later cdew was playing disc on ptr & he said the samething on his stream .

Edit : In the same while monks are sneaking under the radar , the class has a really right skill cap so most ppl just say monks sux, the only disadvantage to monks in my opinion is that they are vulnerable to cc.

What utility exactly? I played on PTR, I thought disc is more like a season 2 holy paladin(without bop, sac, freedom)  that can massdispel (remaining abilities are negated/performed better by other healing classes)

Maybe we have a different understanding of "utility", do tell though, what utility were you talking about?

havent played ptr but i dont see priests being "fotm" i just see em as a viable healer now that people wont instant replace with a hpally/rsham. I personally hate hpallys tho, having 3 ccs, a kick, 2 sacs, 2 bops, and big heals, shits cray- should complain about that imo.

On a side note anyone feel like priest fear has less range in mop, i be missin alllllll kindsssss of fears that id normally land( i think i mighta read somewhere u cant jump to fear someone cause the fear comes from where you were before you jumped).

Healers on the PTR are pretty equal - each with his strength and weaknesses. Never before have I ever seen such parity between healers - only holy priests are slightly op due to some bugs.

disc is pretty fine now.

most ppl think theyre totally op, because fade is bugged on ptr, it has a 5s CD if u specc into phantasm -> permafreedom and -10% dmg (glyphed)

About what I've noticed. The only large difference is having a MW healer against melee teams. Grapple and Ring of Peace on a healer is really strong.
