Ironically this item comes from raiding.

There was an item (in WotLK) if I remember called landsoul's horned greathelm (reference to landsoul from vodka). In vanilla too there used to be and item called ramaladni's icy grasp which was a reference to a really famous player named indamalar during beta.

Of course, this is the first time a pvp player's name is used for such purposes and congrats for that!

It's the same model as the PvP weapons though! I guess they couldn't change the name of PVP weps 'cause it'd confuse people so they made it a pve wep.

Indalamar was hired by and still works for Blizzard too I believe. I read that he's responsible for items too, so he most likely names a lot of them.

If remember correctly the item was itemized horribly, so no one used it. RIP
