Hey,
with the 5.2(and blizzard actually making good changes for once in a while) and new season coming in the upcoming weeks(?), the game might start to look fun to play again.

So I was wondering why aren't we doing like the US player did in Cataclysm and all go to the same server to get faster queues, play with different people and have fun playing this game for something else than money, because I think it might be fun next patch. ( Not only cause im a rogue )

so ...

Outland Alliance or Stormscale Horde ?

Ill update this post until new season comes out if it doesnt get updated by itself and hope people will follow because I actually want to play the game for something else than money with this new patch and Im sure im not alone.
I hope as many high rated teams as possible will xfer to the chosen server so we can all have fun.

why dont you give more options on the different factions ?

For example:

Alliance:
- Sylvanas
- Outland

Horde:
- Al Akir
- Stormscale

Or whatever, just a few more options so people can actually see which is the best server for their faction. cause now its simply just 1 server.

That might be the problem aswell with the queue. since Outland got most of the time a login queue.

Getting faster queues has nothing to do with the amount of people on 1 server tho, just be in the same BG is fine aswell.

Yea well you can go to the same BG as the chosen server if you want but If people want to team hop it has to be on the same side + same server.

Atm every "top eu players" are in one of those 2 servers  and it will most likely be one of those two if that ever happens.

There must be better Horde servers than Al Akir / Blackout. The queues are the most horrible I have ever seen and it's 5 teams you meet above 2.2k. Would never recommend the BG unless a LOT of players migrate here.

I am personally never going to go back to Stormscale to have it crash on me when Sodapoppin and Swifty does their "funny little raids". Also the server is so horribly laggy even with out these it's not even fun there.

Was more an example, but i couldnt come up with 1 that quickly

But ye, i mean alot of good players from alliance go to Sylvanas, because its almost the same as Outland but then without the long queue + sometimes laggy server

I'd throw my vote for Sylvanas Alliance if it matters, but out of those two options I'd say Outland Alliance/Horde because of Stormscale getting crashed whenever streaming morons decide to spam level 1's.

SS horde but lets do one big guild and not like it was or actually is right now with yaspresents/tryhards/game on.....etc...

True that, but i also get the fact that the "elite" players dont wanna be in a guild thats constantly asking in the guild chat "LF someone for 3v3 1500 mmr" when those people are always around 2600 rating.

Thats probally the reason why they got their own guild with only high rated people in it.

Since the last 3 seasons people have been on Outland and SS but end season people always transfer away for their r1s anyways or destroy your BG playing retarded comps like, double healer warrior prenerf FOR EXAMPLE.

Ye everyone knows ppl xfer off, but i think the point hes making is that its more fun at the start of the season to get to know and play with different people and different comps, the seasons lasts months anyway

I've not been to Outland, but there was massive queues on Stormscale for at least the first 6 weeks when MoP was released.  Even now you get the odd small queue at busy times of about 5 minutes.

What are the queue times like on Outland now and what were they like when MoP was released?

There was hour long queues on outland at MoP release and there's still queues for 10 - 15 minutes.

I know this is going to cost everyone money...but what about a new pvp server all together?  One that is currently low population.  Or maybe next time free migration is offered everyone migrates to that server?

personally hope outland will be the bigger server, however, I think stormscale WILL be the best server for 5.2

That won't happen, I just made a realistic poll but apparently seeing how it is going things will stay the same ( 50% 50% ).

With the new rating decay change if everyone was on same bg r1 would fun to compete for again like in TBC/Wotlk instead of just being nerdy pixels or more money when you sell your account (or boost).

I feel like live could be fun to play next patch, in cataclysm I didn't even play live or I did to try to rush rank 1 fast or snipe people on stream for fun, queues were horrible after and I wasnt going to sit in 8min q farming +1 to get a rank1 , now apparently they are faster at high mmr, with the new rating decay change and the upcoming classes changes if everyone was on same bg game could be fun again.
