Now i've been hearing alot of qq about the fade nerf, and our heals getting nerfed and all that shit. But while i kept reading the patch notes i noticed this

  • Power Word: Solace has been replaced with a new talent: Solace & Insanity
    
  • For Holy and Discipline, Power Word: Solace replaces Holy Fire. It deals the same damage, and interacts with other spells and abilities in the same manner, but is instant, costs no mana, and restores 1% of maximum mana on each cast.
    
  • For Shadow, this ability causes Mind Flay to gain the Insanity effect when it's cast on a target with 3 Shadow damage-over-time spells on it. Insanity increases the damage of Mind Flay by 33% per Shadow Orb .

For those of you who still dont understand.. if you use three orb DP with this talent, that means your mind flay ticks will be doing 99% EXTRA DAMAGE!!, Now, i've tested this on ptr and for me its ticking about 60ks each mind flay tick? Not bad i right? lool. I suggest using this with power infusion etc. Worth a look at shadow priest. Go check it out, it's pretty OP not going to lie. Rep me?? or w/e idk how this site works. ENJOY!

It was hitting for like 18k in arena today; not bad damage but not amazing lol.

Nah, I do not have a reading comprehension problem. I'm telling you that playing against Spriests today in PTR arena, it was barely hitting for a third of what you're saying.

I cannot post links but my MF with 3 orb DP was hitting for 24k on a target dummy.

Then you factor in that was RNG and resilience and it's about 18k, like I said.

Yah, even if it is a crit, assuming 65% resil... 70k * 0.35 = 17.5k crits.
Doesn't seem like a BUFF!!!! :\

even if buffed, Mind Flay is a predictable interruptable spell.

And its not bursty, so I have no problem with this.

well considering it is a channel, i see no problem tbh
not to mention all the nerfs shadow received on ptr (like locking disperse, nerf to flash heal etc.)

i would rather deal with shadow priests than spamming insta casts (what a joke) chickens

if you are looking for the next big thing, I do not doubt SP will be good next season. But I doubt warlock will be that faar of!
