I recently leveled my Affliction Warlock to 90 and really enjoying it. However, I have one question: how do you guys keep track of your dots on multiple targets? I have tried some addons, but it usually was too messy and confusing to see what was actually going on.

Just play a lot and it will become automatic without much thought. If you have arena target 1-5 keep toggling between the units and check for your dots, its not that hard after some time of practice, you dot the two dps and then pets, if you get a chance to dot the healer for a swap go for it and tell your mate.

yes i did, dont play anymore really mostly because the game is shit and also because most people i use to play with have quit.

I just use Tidy Plates, but yeah, it does become messy when you have > 3 targets to watch.
