Rofl had matches like these spamming the gate to get away or someone else on my team and all you get to see is "You cannot use the gateway yet" flash in red over and over and over again in the middle of the screen and then it's already to late |:

Yeah, I love when the gateway is the thing that means the difference between living and not and YOU CANNOT USE THE GATEWAY YET.

The 5 second cast time on this thing is just as bad.

Why 5?

Why not, oh say, 3 or something less "I can run from the other side of the arena and jump on your face before you finish casting" long?

As poster above said, but with this vital detail:

If you click it while not in LoS of one of the gateways (such as bottom of stairs or around a corner), you will just get an invisible 15sec debuff that makes you unable to use the gateway. Also it takes a charge off the gateway.
