Problem banning the ppl buying boosts wont solve the issue, cause the boosters dont really care if you get banned as long as hes money has been collected i guess...

so what they need to do is stop the rating keep bug thingy russians are doing, but someone told me they did so i hope next season will be good

What I mean is: the problem stems from people not being punished.

Imagine this scenario, you really want that cool t2 and so you buy a boost/cheat. A few days pass and your friends see you with your new gear/rating and connect the dots. Now, since you aren't getting banned/punished, your friends think that Blizzard won't punish them if they do it too. Next week they cheat/buy boosts and then their friends see they aren't getting punished and then all of the sudden everyone and their mother is 3500 and Blizzard gets the bad PR and has to deal with all the shit. If they would just cut it off right away then people would stop cheating/buying boosts because they would just be throwing away accounts.

Anyone caught wintrading/buying/selling should be suspended (account wide / accounts associated with X player) during the last week, gear reset, teams reset (all teams, not just the one that was boosted/wintraded).

If they suspended / gave warnings to everyone who was clearly getting boosted or having their character played, then there wouldn't be a market because 90% of people wouldn't risk it.

I think that's what Regentlord was trying to say. It makes sense, but I think it's too late. They always say they want to find the 'root cause' of the problems before punishing people. It's like with tmorph, if they started banning people now there would be a complete uproar because it's been allowed for so long. If they straight up banned the streamers who were using it then I guarantee it wouldn't get used nearly as much as it does.
