I really miss the days where you could queue rBG's and not have to worry about getting DDoS'd by some loser on the internet. I've been DDoS'd and I'm literally a nobody, quite frustrating.
Although I never got higher than 2300 in Wrath, I really miss that expansion as a whole. I remember when I first got my 2200 weapons in s8, it was a really really good feeling because I worked hard, learned from people how to become better, and eventually achieved what I wanted to achieve. The expansion as a whole was just so much fun, for PvP, PvE, literally every aspect was astounding.
I remember wPVP on the Quel'Danas Island. Place was packed back in the day and I remember battles just progressively getting bigger and bigger until world server would lag. Good times.
I remember coming to these forums back in Wrath, and for the most part reading quality posts. The state of the game has a big role in why these forums went downhill, but overall in that time era there was a lot of very good constructive conversation, guides and such.
I think the thing I remember the most about WoW and really miss more than anything was the sense of prestige within the game. With all aspects, not just Gladiator/r1 (because I've never been Gladiator before to be honest). Even shoulders @ 2k for me was just the best feeling back then. The feeling of achievement is gone for me, and it's quite sad because I used to thoroughly enjoy this game. Amazing how quick time goes by isn't it?
