Seeing as how resi scales insanely well in MoP I wouldn't be surprised if people started using s13 honor gear..
I do not suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it.

why does s13 honor gear has more pvppower/resilience then s13 conquest gear?

When you compare it like that you make it seem like its better than conquest gear. Don't ignore the other stats such as armor, stamina, and the two other secondary stats.

I am guessing they did this to make the gear attractive for pvp but less attractive--due to lower ilvl--for pve LFR purposes.

Someone add up the stam you'd drop from putting on honor gear instead of conquest and compare effective health.

as i said in another thread, it was first thought that s13 honor gear will be better to wear than any piece that isn't 2/2 upgraded, the loss of stam should be made up with effective health from resil, and should actually equal a boost in your effective health i believe if replacing a 0/2 upgraded piece.  You lose slight amounts of other stats, but at this point in the game, i would rather have more effective health.

I don't understand why they've made it so that the Tyrannical gear is only 2 iLvLs up from upgraded Malevolent. Blizzard are constantly saying how they want to keep the MMO feel in PvP, the main reason why they haven't balanced peoples gear in Arena like they do with challenge modes is because of this, but I doubt people with maxed gear this season are going to feel any sort of gear progression at all except for cosmetics, personally I won't even have this as I despise the look of the Paladin set. I went on the PTR today, made a character, replicated my Paladin on Live and even without fully upgraded gear on live, I actually lose a small amount of Resi on PTR with full s13 gear because I don't have Blacksmithing, and the small gain in other stats is barely noticable with the exception of being able to take some mastery off pieces and maintain roughly the same amount of spirit as on live.

Am I also right in thinking that the "Elite" Tyrannical set pieces will not have stat upgrades either? With the exception of weapons of course. I don't know whether I like what they've done with the 5.2 honor gear either, seems like they could give better overall stats if you don't have 2/2 upgraded s12 Malevolent.

I think they should just make s13 Honor gear 2/2 Malevolent gear,  with the exception of T2 like past seasons, Blizzard screwed up by introducing item upgrades so they should just take this one on the chin. I also think people should have an even playing field with gear if they decide to play a new class at the start of a new season, so making new season honor gear better OR worse brings up problems either way IMO. And who cares if some people decide to use it for LFR, it's not like it works both ways for PvE gear in PvP and vice versa. Nobody is gonna go and rock Recount with a bunch of useless PvP stats.

that's because people whine that blue gear is too shit and that other people burst them down easily so they thought they'll give blue gear more resi. we'll probably see a few people use a few blue items for more resi.. yay.

the raw stats makes up for the lack of pvp power making them better, and dont forgett you have higher stamina to cover for the resi and so on. there was a big post on us forums and its basicly the same the newer season the better like always.

id like to see nerf to malevolent gear and a buff to the honnor s13 gear. and i guess small buff to the s13 cp gear to make it worth the time farming bgs.

Or maybe if you are the "bursty" kind of guy you are going to stick to the blue gear for good? I dunno, it just seems way too good to even care about upgrades ; )
