Don't vote if you don't play a hunter.

I'm interested in seeing what other hunters think is the best map for us atm. Obviously it's completely comp dependent, but the poll should give a general idea on how differently experienced hunters see things as.

Pick your 2 favorite maps.

Huge fan of Dalaran sewers now that we have Explosive Trap glyph + Disengage glyph (not sarcasm).

I havn't played much this expansion, but with our glyph changes like Xrtn said, and the removal of min range, I'd say Dal is one of hunters best maps.

In Cata, Ring of Hunter meant you pretty much won. I liked Ruins too.

Tol Viron imo. Best map for pulling healers into a bad spot, and get successful traps consistently.

Although knockbacks are fun, and may be gamebreaking sometimes, blades edge and dalaran's narrow design makes them favor classes with aoe cc, and also makes it easier for ppl to eat traps. And since you, as a hunter, most likely wont be playing with a mage, priest, warlock or moonkin etc., I dont think they're that good for us...

But ofc it all depends what comp you play, and what comps are common on your bg. If you always have aggro, and face a lot of melee cleaves, obviously dalaran is gonna be good.

IMO as a rogue, Blades Edge, just stand on pillar and put explosive trap all day.

I hated Ring of Valor in WotLK.

It was a fucking bitch to play against Wizard cleaves on that map with most Hunter comps. Mages were easy though.

ATC against any lock on any map was also easy as fuck.

I haven't played Mists, but I gotta agree that Dalaran should be a great map for Hunters without minimum range.

Huge lordaeron fan myself, with only instant casts (exept powershot) the small LoS obstacles makes for great defensive use for us, and almost non for the enemy team (add to that the fact that you can disengage across the whole thing anyway).

If I had to rank them in my order of preference, it'd be:

1. Dalaran
2. Ruins
3. Nagrand
4. Tol'viron
5. Blade's Edge
6. Ring of Valor (only because it isn't in the current playable maps though)
