Just checked ladders on every BG, and there are currently either 0 or 1 resto druids in top 10 almost everywhere. I don't even think I've seen more than one resto druid. A ton of resto shamans and holy paladins, nothing else. I think resto druids at the moment are just as rare on high rated teams as disc priests.
So what went wrong this time? The season started out with quite a few godcomps, mage warrior druid teams, other random comps. Everyone was complaining about displacer beast and other new shit that druids got, and now I see no druids anymore. Did godcomp stop doing well vs KFC at some point or did something else happen? I don't play any more, but was considering coming back, and now I'm quite confused about the new state of resto. Kinda reminds me early s9 before the removal of the instant roots glyph. Resto druids were doing great and then became shit for the rest of the expansion. What's everyone's opinion on why there are so few resto druids on high rated teams?

although the healing nerf hurt druid hots pretty big, i think druids would be a lot better if KFC wasn't as dominant. Next patch I think druids will fare pretty well

Naturalist: This new passive learned at level 10 by Restoration Druids increases all healing done by the Druid by 10%.
Any of you guys really good at druid or just good at the game can understand and explain how big of an impact this will have on druid representation next patch? cheers

The healing nerf hit druids hard in general, and the mage nerf to frostbomb hurt godcomp quite abit aswell even tho its still a good comp. The main issue is the KFCs with eternal CC and unhealable damage that you meet about 50% of the games you play-.-

Too many rdruids as is, make room for monks by raising skillcap is fine. We had our opportunity between 2200 reset and patch.

I have played on PTR for the past few days in the 3vs3 bracket and Druids felt quite "alright". I like the idea of the mushroom which will be implemented in the next patch.
But I have been going through my Spellbook and I haven't found the Naturalist passive spell somewhere so I'm not sure if it's on TR yet but I guess it is.
