Overall, I'm pretty impressed with all the new weapons for s13. The gear is, meh, but the weapons...damn.

You know you can transmog mace -> sword in 5.2 either way right.

only if you can equip it, mages cant xmog into maces and priests cant xmog into swords etc

2 hand weapons look amazing, no reason to transmog those, finally some good weapon models !

I play rogue and warlock and it seems that next season there's no need to mog anything really.

this is a good change, the weapons look a bit more unrealistic like in tbc. hopefully they are making gear more like in tbc instead of all this "we want gear to look somewhat realistic ))" bullshit

Is it just me....or does the staff model have a better axe model than the axe

Did anyone else also notice that the PvP 2h Axe has a horde logo on it? It looks like the some of the PvP weapons have faction specific art again like in Vanilla. Not as extensive of a difference as in Vanilla, but I love the effort!

Hello everyone.

I think that it will still be dagger as a caster weapon next season. In the first picture that you linked about "Tyrannical Gladiator's Mageblade" I've noticed that 1h sword doesn't have spell power and it has kinda too much damage/dps for being a caster weapon, but that it actually has enough dps to be 1h MELEE WEAPON, which it prolly is.

I've searched a bit on the net about it, and found out that 1h weapon on the first linked pic is prolly a 1h STRENGTH weapon and that item on PTR or so is bugged a bit.

Also there is next season's spell dagger out already http://ptr.wowhead.com/item=94306

If you check weapons on http://www.wowhead.c...-mace-axe-sword and if you put your mouse cursor over the "Tyrannical Gladiator's Mageblade" it's showing actually stats of weapon called "Tyrannical Gladiator's Slasher", strength fist weapon.

Thought it would be nice to tell you, so ppl don't bother farming 1h swords for transmog on their caster chars, if they wont be able to actually transmog it. =)

Can somebody make a thread on EU or US battlenet forums stating that we want caster swords? From what Mardz said, it's probably gonna be like the caster wand that was never actually added to the vendor...
