Idk how one is supposed to get Blizz to notice bugs, but it probably has something to do with threads on their forums?
"I believe that the idea behind Shadow Priest mana is that keeping good Vampiric Touch dot uptime should mean that you will be able to manage your mana. However, in arena when you go against a Discipline Priest or anything else with alot of shields, you go out of mana because Vamp Touch isn't "dealing damage." I don't want to think that it's intended for us to play well and be unable to have enough mana to play on a technicality. It should be a bug that VT doesn't restore mana when absorbed.
Unstable Affliciton dispel protection silence has never diminished with itself. In early Cataclysm, sin and punishment dispel protection horrify diminished with itself, and with Psychic Horror. Blizz fixed that half way through Cataclysm. MoP is out, and once again sin and punishment (now our 4 piece set bonus) diminishes with itself, and with Psychic Horror. I don't want to think that is intended since they already fixed sin and punishment once in Cataclysm to make it consistent with Unstable Affliction dispel protection."

Every other caster has unlimited mana regen, and spriests healing will be dog shit, so why not just let them get alot of mana and reward them for getting casts off.

spriest healing nerf will most likely be reverted and nothing will be done to MD.. just go read the official forums and ALL the pve heroes are whining about these nerfs and how it will affect shadow pve (which is dogshit atm and brought to raids only for its utilities such as off healing and MD dispells that are mandatory in most fights).
Also i still dont understand why they are nerfing healing even more.. i'm ilvl 491 and in arena i do 30-35k flash heals (40-45k depending on procs) that are pretty dogshit atm with the 410k+ healthpools in full gear

Its more of a quality of life kind of thing rather than a direct buff. Don't know why you're so upset when you can run Ret KFC. You made triple dps work last season, make it work again?
As an example, playing against something like RMP, where the disc priest applies alot of "trash" buffs, on top of Ice Barrier + Power Word: Shield, spending 7 globals to remove every buff isn't worth it, as everything is back off CD and reapplied before you can dispel it all. Not to mention, with mage armor, dot duration is much less which equates to increased reapplication of dots, aka ooming much faster. It's not something I'm extremely concerned about or think that it absolutely must be changed, but it seems like Blizzard misses out on so many things like this that it probably isn't intended to work this way.

The problem is that we're the only caster that cares about mana and our only mana cooldown is our only defensive cooldown. If too many VT ticks get absorbed (or even if they don't get absorbed, our mana doesn't break even when multi DoTing), we go OOM and then we can do fuck all for the rest of the match.

Last I checked, rogues/ferals don't lose their combo points and/or energy. That's why it is not even amongst the highest priorities in PvE to actually get the hit cap as a feral.
