I'm currently half Malevolent and half Honor gear. Is it better to upgrade current Malevolent to 2/2 or go for full Malevolent before 5.2?

It is better to buy Malevolent gear than to upgrade it.
However it is better to upgrade weapon than to buy other Malevolent gear since the weapon affects damage the most.
